It is a college which is managed by government and pne of the reputed college of india, with a good faculty team and education process. Nit Durgapur has a best resource facility to promote research and development. And above this , the admission process to get into this college is quite easy and systematic. Everything is managed by josaa counseling once you complete you jee mains exam. Due to covid this year admission procedure started a bit late since jee mains was postponed twice. It started around 4 November and ended on 30 November. We got enrolled and our classes began from 3 December 2020. Overall it is great college for learning and enhancing mainly in the field of research, development.and technology

I have a keen interest in chemistry which made me choose this branch. My college has a bery systematic procedure for this branch and the course curriculum what i think is upto the mark. Since the education for now is totally online so direct interaction with the professors is not possible. But then too i think oyr classes and regularlt held and the interaction between the teacher and student is quite satisfactory our classes are held on ms teams and the attendance is always around 60/77. Which i think is enough , considering the online environment. The teaching procedure is upto the mark and things are well explained and discussed using whiteboard and doubts are regularly cleared.

Generally students opt for interns by the end of fourth semester. The internship facilities here is vv good. Various big companies like Microsoft / amazon visit the college and select interns based on the skills in respective domains like coding development., SDE etc.Each company atleast offers 5 6 internship offers. And project depends on the field the student has opted for in that particular company.

After the end of last semester, various reputed companies come and offer jobs. And students are given opportunities based on cg and capabilities/extra curricular skills. Various reputed companies like Capgemini/mahindra/Goldman sach/ etc visit our college and around 50+ students are given jobs in theirs respective departments. Highest package offered is 40 + lakhs/anum. ( Not know the exact) and average is 10 lakh /anum.

Since i am an online batch student so for me to completely explain you the infrastructure and life there at college would be difficult, but as much as i have read on social handle and got to know from my seniors is that , the infrastructure is just awesome and peaceful. Annual techfest conducted by NITDurgapur is arohan which is something i had experienced online this year(2020) , and my personal experience says that it is just awesome and even great when experienced offline. There are several clubs belonging to different categories than induct students of interest ,and help them grow and enhance. Their auditions are held during February and end before rhe start of march. There are yoga classes and several other extra curricular activities like football tennis badminton etc. And the classroom are fully furnished and maintained. Library is open 24*7 for you to read any book of your interest. There are several clubs in our college.like CCA/SAE / Spic macay (managed by MHRD) , etc. You can google our college and check our official website where every detail is mentioned regarding college and clubs and even check official website of individual clubs as well.

We need to pay for the two semesters individually in the beginning of each respective semester. Even semester fee is comparatively less than the odd one. Semester fee depends on the family income. There is a criteria set if family income is <2k then the amount is different. And similarly in which ever criterion you lie, you have to pay the fees accordingly. And the procedure is vv easy. Depending on family income and need , there are various scholarships available for students. Which can be availled if you fulfill all the criteria and you just need to add few id proofs but the procedure is easy to apply for it.Incase you financial background is not strong you can communicate it to the dean and financial aid is provided to the student when needed. Various internship opportunities are available for each student irrespective of year of study, that too from companies of higher value, that can help students to be financially stable since many of them provide stipend. Job offered form companies at the end pf the program are quite satisfactory but i would suggest that the person having complete interest in that particular field should only apply for it, or otherwise can go for off campus job offers. Since sometime or even in this covid period there are high chabces that your dream company may not come to college but still decent companies are always ready to offer you job based on your cg and other comparative skills.

Campus life and infrastructure is satisfactory and upto the mark. Sports like football badminton , tennis etc are available and proper seperate ground/rooms are made for each. There is internet available inside the campus 24*7 with satisfactory speed , which causes no issues as such regarding speed or internet availability. There is a big Library with numerous amount of books and it runs 24*7 for students, like they can go there and study. Laboratories are quite maintained and fully furnished for all the departments.

No to get admission in this college all you need is to just qualify jee mains with appropriate marks , and each college and each branch of each college has a cut off ready , and if you lie within the cut off limit, then surely without any further procedure or requirement you can get admission. And the procedure for it is vv easy. Preparing for jee mains is something what you learn in 11th and 12th standards. And it is totally based on your interest in that subject. (physics/chemistry/mathematics).
