Remarks
The fact that it was an institute of national importance and was nearer to my home made me chose this college. Also the faculty and infrastructure here is quite good. I did not use any blog or form for selecting my college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course faculty is very good. The exams are well organized and the teaching method is nice. The pandemic did not create any hindrance in teaching. Some used the PowerPoint presentation to teach while others use the pen digital tablet. But in both the cases the concepts are well taught to us. Passing the exams depends on what you have studied. If you have understood the concepts taught in the class it won't be hard for you to pass.
Placement Experience
Placements are always good in an institute of National Importance. Companies like Microsoft, Tata Steel, JPMC, Hero Motocorp and many more come to our college. Around 80 percent of students are placed and the rest opts for higher studies like M.tech and PhD. Maximum salary can go up to 15-20 Lakhs per annum. The average salary is 8 -10 Lakhs per annum.
College Events
Life here is fun and amazing. We have a lot of clubs covering all types of domain be it technical cultural environmental etc. We have a central library and two sports grounds. We have our annual tech fest called Aarohan in the month of December or January and there are a lot of things you can explore once you are in the college
Fees and Financial Aid
For a general category student Fees here is approx 60k per semester excluding the hostel fees. But there are several scholarships which provides financial assistance to those who could not afford to pay the amount.
Campus Life
Campus Infrastructure is quite amazing. It covers an area of approx 190 acres. We have a central library two playgrounds and separate hostels for boys and girls. The wi-fi speed is good and the labs have well managed equipments.
Admission
No I did not face any GD or interview for the admission. The admission were given according to the JEE score. Once you are qualified to sit for the counseling process and have been alloted a seat in the college you have to produce several documents according to guidelines of counseling body and the college body.
