Course Curriculum Overview
I am currently inthe 4th semester of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The professors consistently encourage the students to go forwars in the semiconductor field, and the courses are designed according to the latest industry trends. Each year has two semesters and each semester has a mid sem and an end sem examination. In addition to it, there is CA. This three sums up to the net 100marks.
Internships Opportunities
Several companies come for oncampus internship opportunities. Students can also apply for research internships under eminent professors of the college. Their research ibterest is listed inthe faculty section of the college website.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for internship opportunities from 4th sem itself and can sit for the placement interviews from 7th sem. The highest package received last year was 70lpa, and about 80-83% students gettinf placed. The reamining students mainly opt for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The students with family income below income gets 100% tution fee waiver while students with family income in range 1-5 lkh needs to pay only 1/3 of the tution fee. Students are provuded with the fee structure during the time of admission. In addition to this students needs to pay for the mess each semester which is nearly around 18-19k. Plus there are ither charges of 16300. Stydents can apply for the government and private scholarships as well
Campus Life
We have our technical fest called "AAROHAN" and cultural fest called "RECSTACY". In addition to this we have numerous other fests conducted by each club individually. There are a varity of 15+ students clubs and societies, CCA, Edc, DebSoc, Literary circle, spic macay, to name a few. The Library is provided with numerous options of both books, journals and newspaper, to cater to students of all tastes. Our students are oretty active in sports and other extracurricular activities, with regular remarkable participation in Inter NIT tournaments.
Hostel Facilities
Here hostels are known as Hall of Residence, each named after some famous personalities. There are total 14 halls in total, with 4 for girls and 10 for boys. Each room has an occupency of 3, for Btecg students. The hostels are located inside the campus itself. The mess is also provided with proper balance of foods options of all cuisines.
Admission
Students with valid jee main marksheet are eligible for counseling. The college provides reservation benefits to obc,sc,st and ews students during admission. Seats are reserved for girl students. Jee main happens twixe a gear one in January and the other in april, with an easy to moderate difficulty level.
