SSE Review

The college faculty the director and the academic provided by the college is excellent of its form however the administration needs to be worked on, planned and organized.

This is the only college in Pune area, providing Masters in economics, via Science Background. Others provide it via Arts background. Also, the College ranks amongst the top college, in the field of economics. The specializations offered are very unique from other colleges.

The SSE has its own application, known as the "CUROSITY".This allows the student and the teacher to follow the curriculum and also keeps a track of our attendance and evaluation. The course is designed beautifully based on the everyday application of the subject.

A college doesn't really provide any internship program. However if so, I have not much knowledge about that.

Symbiosis School of Economics has been attached with the majority of companies and industries with a very reputed brand name hence this helps the students to get better opportunities and better job locations for the course that they have pursued. I Symbiosis is one of the major providers of the MSc students all over.

Events such as equilibria College Fest debate competitions poetry competition singing cultural fest et cetera are celebrated in our college. Because of a majority of international students in the college, there is a get together of the national and international students together celebrated to know each other's culture language and country.

As per the quality of the education provided the fee structure is definitely a little above the average fee structure however the resulting outputs are way more calculative then the input that has been gone. The fee structure is divided over the semesters that have been conducted.

There has been a scholarship offered to the best student of the year after the course has been completed.

The director of a college is an amazing enthusiastic lady who encourages all types of talent and creativity in the students. A special student Council has been elected to work on the different areas of development in the college few of them are debate society investment society cultural society stock market exchange society entrepreneurs cell sports cell photography cell poetry sections et cetera.

Symboises focuses on less wastage of food hence the food provided is a healthy homemade fresh to cook food in the mess and the hostels are kept hygiene on a weekly basis checkup has been done over the routine every time. The special staff has been hired to maintain the hygiene and the health issues related to college on the campus as well as in hostels.

The alumni network is a very strong platform in Symbiosis however as I am a current student I have no knowledge about it as of now.

The exam structure is designed in two components internal component and external component the internal components comprise of different variants including MCQ Viva presentations assignments research papers internal exam and attendance. The external component comprises of a written paper of 80 marks.

I had to fill the entrance form, and post that the interview and an aptitude test was conducted. The interview was a long procedure. Oral communication skills were tested with the knowledge of field and subject. Three lists were out, selecting the appropriate candidates.

The faculty is extremely knowledgeable about the subject they also encourage the students to try new methods of studying. All of the faculty hold a degree of Ph.D. which makes them approachable and help us to understand the depth of the subject. The faculty is also available at all. Of time which makes it convenient for the student to communicate with them.
