Course Curriculum Overview
I personally wanted to opt for this stream as the electronic gadgets excites me. The curriculum is good for knowledge but for industrial purpose it is not enough to hav that old technology knowledge so you have to keep an eye on the latest technologies and paralarly you have to skill up for the placement and all The frequency of exams is 2-3 times a semester and difficulty level is moderate to tough.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies came for hiring like jp Morgan, SAMSUNG, Texas instruments, Nvidia, PWC Accenture Reliance etc .They came for internship as well as for full time and they offer different stipend varies form 25k to 1.5 lakh. The companies work on different projects during the internships.
Placement Experience
From 7th sem onwards students are eligible for campus placement and for internship 5th sem onwards students are eligible for internships. The companies like TI Flipkart Microsoft Nvidia Samsung PWC they came and take 5-10 students. Percentage of placement was around 84-85% last year. My plans after getting the degree is to get a high profile job at semiconductor company.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no such case of hike the tution fee or any fee till now. The complete cost of my education is around 6-7 lakhs including all charges Various scholarships are available like NSP, SVMCM with 50K per year. One can avail interns and jobs from there they can take their stipend.
Campus Life
The annual techno-management festival of NITDGP is AAROHAN- The 2nd largest techno management fest of eastern India.it is held in the month of February or March The annual cultural fest is Recstacy and this generally held in the month of March or April. Books are available in the library.around 1 lakh books are there. All basic facilities and technology are there in the classrooms like ac, well furnished benches, smart board, projectors etc. There are various clubs in our college. The oldest and largest techno management club of NITDGP is CCA.
Admission
Eligibility of the course is, you have to give jee main and as per your rank you will get this college through josaa counselling. After getting a seat in NITDGP, the authorities will contact you through email and tell you about the admission process. You can avail reservation benefits if you have those certificates. The frequency of exam is 2-3 times a semester and difficulty level is moderate to tough. The admission process is very lengthy.it can be improved.
Faculty
The faculties to students ratio is near about 1:8. It doesn't affect learning experience. The faculties credentials one can find form the official website of NITDGP. you can approach them from there contact details given in the website. We can interact with professors in class and in their personla cabin in their respective departments.
