Remarks
Overall college need to be improved in many sectors and it is very good in many sectors. Some of the sectors are being improved and will be good till 2022 I hope. Don't keep much expectations on the food and other facilities. And when comes to faculty you must make good use of them no one will guide aor spoon feed you.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is recently updated so the curriculum is the well updated for the present situations. The exam structure is also recently changed. Total marks is 100 for each subject, 50 marks for end semester examination, 30 marks for mid semester examination and 20 marks for internal assessment (includes class tests, assignments and attendence)
Placement Experience
The placement and job oppurtunities are good. On an average of 70% students will be placed in different companies with an average salary of 6lpa based on the department. The highest salary for the last year's batch is 39 lpa by Microsoft. Many multinational companies like micrisoft, ola, amazon, reliance group, tata group and many national companies will coming for recruitment. PSU's will also be coming. Internship will not be provinot by our college. If we are interested we can do project under any professor of our respective departments.
College Events
There are many cultural and technical clubs in our college. Many clubs will be organising the fests. Aarohan - The official techno management fest. This is organised by CCA Aavishkar - The official technical fest. This is organised by SAE, MNTC and GNU Linux Users group. Recstacy - The official cultural fest. This is organised by all the non technical clubs of the club. Quizzitch Cup - The official quzzing fest. Organised by Quizinc. Verve - The official youth fest. Organized by Literacy circle. E-Summit - This is organised by EDC
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible.It is 7000 per semester for SC/ST students and for students whose income is below 1 lakh. It is 35000 per semester for students whose income lies between 1 and 5 lakhs. It is 70000 or students whose income is above 5 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan facility is provided by canara bank and state bank of india. These are the best loan facilities provided in college. College will not provide any scholarships. But we can get scholarships provided by state and central government.
Campus Life
For extracurricular activities there are many clubs for different activities like photography, art, music, dance etc. Labs are not upto the mark, lab equipment are old, so results obtained will have error. For sports there is a tennis, shuttle, basketball courts and cricket, football, hockey ground. Carrom board, chess board and table tennis equipment will be provided in hostels. All the sports equipment will be provided by college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is not good at now for 2nd, 3rd and 4th years. A new hostel building is constructed and will be allotted soon. I hope after that the hostel infrastructure will be good. But the food is not good. It will be very difficult for south indians.
Alumni/Alumna
As the college is 60 years old there is a huge alumni network. So where ever you go can find your college alumni. Some of the seniors are very helpful they will be very much useful during job and internship interviews.
Admission
I entered the college through JEE Mains, this is the only way to enter the college for indian students. First of all we need fill college and department preference order. Then college and department will be allotted based on your rank. The admission process is not much difficult, admission broucher will be available in the college website we need to get all the requested documents and attend the admission process on the given dates.
