I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

If you’re interested in sports this college provides you almost all types of outdoor sports facilities
As said the campus is comparatively small so interactions with students and seniors are more often as compared to other colleges
The infrastructure is fine as the semi government or government colleges have

Dislikes

Some of the classrooms needs proper aur conditioning
The canteen food is not up to the mark and it is not that value for money
There should be a night canteen also although The mess food is great hut need for night canteen is must

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main exams happen two time only that are mids and end semester examinations. There is sufficient time to prepare for these exams as the consecutive quizes also make you ready for the exams as the quiz syllabus consists of some parts of mid and end semester examinations.

My campus is surrounded by greenery and lots of trees
My social is very good, i am an extrovert person so that's why I might not find any difficulty to interact with others
My professors are very well experienced , their teachings methods are amazing

Dislikes

They do not conduct career related or job related talk for students
Campus amenities is not so good, they need to provide more facilities
There is no medical leave for periods for women

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester students become eligible for campus placement Companies who are visited are - Deloitte, ZS, Oracle , Urban Company, Adrosonic Average yearly package of very company is 12 lacs 60 to 70 percent students get placed My plan after getting degree is to secure good job

Birla institute of technology mesra best honest review

Classrooms and labs are good.also this college has good alumini networks.
Dispensary facilities with ambulance on a call
VC is very much approachable and you can discuss anything.

Dislikes

Rooms are smaller with 2 person per room.
Mess foods are not good for all hostels.
Teachers are experienced but they didn't teach much

Placement Experience:

90 percentage of students from CSE gets placed except for 2024 batch the percentage was 70 with avg of 12lpa while it was 22 lpa before with 16lpa median . Approx 20 companies visited for intership for 3rd year students

after first year you will get internship opportunites. Manu popular companies visit our campus. Placement record of college is good but due to reccession it is down now. but in future there is great opportunities.

Lush green campus and enviroment is very clean and campus is huge
Sport facility are top class and central library with all kindof books
Black dot system which maintain college discipline and Antiraggining squad for no ragging policy

Dislikes

Hostel facility are not upto mark and they are very old fashioned
75 %attendance policy which is really annoying
No night canteen even during exam time and mess food is also very average

Exploring BIT Mesra with a fresher

The students who came here to study are from all over India thus that helps an individual to development his/her personality

Dislikes

The hostels for the first year students could have been better , the rooms are very small ideally to accommodate only a single person.

Placement Experience:

As per my knowledge the average placement of my college is around 12 LPA ,the package of my department i.e. chemical engineering is around 8 LPA as mentioned in the website and I've asked some seniors about the off campus placement and I've known that Bit mesra don't add the off campus placement into their placement statistics , the companies that I know visited the campus for placement as per my seniors and faculties are Amex , Adobe , Genpact , Goldman Sachs , Google , Microsoft , Visa and even College Dunia

This college provides a huge green campus, good infrastructure, peaceful environment, a lot of club activities and events keep going on to help you build social skills anf follow passion. Boy and girl ration not so good but from this year female res.
The ECE branch is strict but of followed good with coding skills can give you preety good output
The average placement might not be good..but can you always get nice off campus placementus

Dislikes

Big class size order to order of govt to increase student intake which decreases the quality of students
Strict administration and bad avg placement package
Preety hectic curriculum if thinking of ece, less time to enjoy other things but can be managed

Placement Experience:

Placements are not so good amd not so bad.the students are eligible for placements in 7th semester. You also get internship in 3rd year.mostly companies comes to campus except big ones.no. of offers by high package companies not much. But mass recruiters also visit here. Percentage is approx 75%.

The BIT experience

Likes

Beautiful and big Campus with all basic amenities available. Easy connectivity with the city and transport services.
Good interactive and social environment. Cultural and technical events. Variety of clubs to join and develope different skills.
Supportive and good faculty who have good teaching experience.

Dislikes

Good infrastructure but labs need to be maintained and some equipments need to be repaired and replaced

Placement Experience:

Semester 6 and 7 students are eligible to sit for placement s. Many big companies like reliance, KPMG, Goldman Sachs, MakeMyTrip do visit our campus. Highest package is 60LPA. 75% students generally get placed. My plan is to get the best placement and work the job.

The college campus is so vibrant and everything is readily available. Some professors love that children are doing something of their own being an entrepreneuri.
Clubs and societies are very active. There is never a weekend going without one speaker session.
Big companies are always there for on campus and alumni cell works really hard to stay connected and placements are ready

Dislikes

Some professors are really not helpful. They just get you demotivated and feel left out.
Seniors are not that interactive until and unless you are really close to them. They dont give advice when needed
Girl to boy ratio is bad like it is 1:10. Hostel rooms for first year girls are very small because now the intake has increased.

Placement Experience:

3rd year end and 4th year start companies start visiting and interviewing students. Placements are not that good as of now due to market. But yes atlassian , makemytrip, ZS , goldman sachs, microsoft. 75% student get placed. Highest package is 60LPA. My plans after degree is to pursue higher studies in the states or UK

BIT Mesra have a very good placement record both ways by percentage placement and average/median packages.
They have made really very good infrastructure, well equipped labs and a library.
Academic faculties and seniors are very supportive they will reach out to you in case of any problem so that's a really good thing.

Dislikes

Clubs/Society are not that good and even BIT management is not providing funds to theses clubs they are not getting opportunities to perform on big stages regularly so that's a problem.
Sports facilities are really poor, facilities available are not well maintained.

Placement Experience:

The placement of BIT is really good, If you will study you will getvplaced for sure and there is no if and but in this but lets assume I didn't got placed then I will prepare for PSU's and IES examination and will see where life goes next
