I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

BIT Mesra MCA reality

Likes

BIT Mesra has a lot of things to like It has a huge campus of over 900 acres. It is full of greenery.
The faculties are very well trained and well educated. They teach really well. The teachers here also provide pdf/ppt notes for students.

Dislikes

The college is located very far from the city, in a remote village.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are really good in bit mesra. Top MNCs such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon recruit from here. Highest package is 52 LPA. Average package in 12 LPA. Most of the students get placed, around 92%.

Why you should join bit mesra ranchi

Likes

Campus is very big and vibrant and green
Placements equivalent of iits and nits and other big colleges
High tech labs and large sports complex and

Dislikes

Campus is very big and it takes lot of time to commute
75 % attendance policy does not give students time to explore start up ideas
Iits skirts of ranchi and not of lot outside places to explore

Placemmets are top notch and overall more than 100 companies like Adobe's,Microsoft ,atlassian ,Qualcomm ,Texas instruments visit campus and offers lot of placement oppurturnities Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is more than 80

Placement scenerio is not decent this here, but overall it's good if you not get intership or placement inside but you can try outside and try off campus placement here is knowledge important not placement

Likes

College campus which include academics buildings, libraries, infrastructure and adminstrative offices. It hade vide range of clubs ,sports fields and also recreational facility where students can exercise , participate and practice to make proud of .
College typically offer academic support services for students
Also there is health and wellness services including on-camps health clinic.

Dislikes

Things that are generally not liked by students is large class sizes, early morning classes.
Also in some cases tutions fees, limited parking.
Also in some cases lack of diversity and inclusion.

Placement Experience:

On average 8-10 lpa of package every year. The highest placement may vary from 20-35lpa.For BTech students placement semester from 7th sem. Also for some branches like mathematics and computing from onwards 9 sem company came for their placement.

Likes

The college campus is awesome hostels for first year student are very well maintained. Mess food quality is also pretty good. Attendance policy is although strict to 75 percent but it gets managed through proxy and some good professors.
Summer holidays are of 3 months thus you can prepare or learn new skills during the time. The hostels rule are not very strict and everything is chill you can go out at night anytime campus is safe at night . Although for girls there is intime 9pm

Dislikes

There are a lot of student intake it is increasing year by year there are a total of 250 students in CSE in three sections. Gender ratio is very poor .

Placement Experience:

Placements for other branches except CSE is not so impressive the placement for CSE also has detoriated this year because of recession the companies are not recruiting the same amount of students as it was before. The highest package offered was 51lpa last year and many of them remain unplaced

Life at BIT Mesra

Likes

One thing I liked about this college is it's infrastructure. Sufficient space is available for smooth conduction of Every Process
Campus area is huge and is photogenic. The golden glow of Autumn leaves are just wow!
Sports Complex is quite spacious and items for sports like Football, volleyball, basketball ara always Available.

Dislikes

The attendance criteria. Like they are very strict regarding that and implement huge fine (38k) on shortage.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards, students become eligible for campus placements. For internships now, the companies have started hiring 4th-semester students as well. Placement stats were good until this year (well this is the situation Everywhere).

I liked the environment. The students friendly behavior of faculties. The atmosphere we get. The fest we attend the workshop we attend the extra curricular activities we perform.. The the teaching style of our faculty is the best thing in BIT. Our
Deans are too friendly. The interaction of our teacher is too good. The discipline we get over here and the mandatory attendance is the best thing that happens here.

Dislikes

Sometimes the management goes unwell. We get more pressure during end sem.. The night life for girls is complete zero. We are kept inside the hostel and there is no boundaries for boys they move around whol night the point is if we are in boy's
Should also be in.. Its not that we want to move but if we r not allowed boys should also be not allowed for the same thing.

Placement Experience:

The placement is good and the placement is good and high for CSE the placement for the CSE is good and high we get more placement for CSE one. There are higher placement in bit MESRA. I feel the placement is good and I m. Happy to be here the placement is good and very awesome.

The green environment around the hostels and academic building.
Teachers are very cooperative and help the students.

The location of the college is away from the city.
Connectivity is poor at night time and during vacation.

The campus placement is quite good . More than 200 companies visit every year provide around 800+ offers. The CSE department avg package is around 25 lakhs . If there were no campus placement students are well equipped with skills that will help them to get a handsoume job.

Likes

The fest and the cultural programs organized in the college are very pleasing to the eye and are very enjoyable
It has an extensive network of alumini which helps a lot during placements and also in the internships
The scenic beauty of the college is amazing.Also the campus size of 780 acres is a huge plus as it has adequate place formany facilities

Dislikes

The 75% attendance policy is the biggest negative about the college as that makes a compulsion upon the student
The mindset is a little old one...I.e in some programs there are barricades between the male and female students not allowing them to celebrate or enjoy together
There is no night canteen present in the campus..All the shops close by 11P.M and there is no source of food after that

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are good and big companies visit the campus.There is good opportunity for students of non circuital as well.For instance,the highest package last year was 52 lakhs on campus with average of 14lakhs and this does not include the PPOs offered.If you get a PPO then your package would be 84lakhs

Not all but few teachers are very understanding as well as caring and they make difficult subjects easy for the students to understand.
Some staffs of the labs are also very caring they help us when we don't understand the things in lab

Dislikes

The time gap between exams are not student friendly at all this just adds to more stress.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good but is given less time considering the course. Maybe giving more time to learning will improve the outcome and make it a bit easier for the students to learn and grasp things.
