BIT Mesra Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement of the college is very good . There is a separate placement cell in the college which provides the placement availability for the students. Students become eligible from the seventh semester for placement. Very large amount of companies visited the college. The highest package is 84.2 lacs and minimum is 6 lacs. 80 percent of students get placed. My plan is to go for higher studies in mechanical engineering also the college is very recognised for higher education in foreign country also.

Course curriculum is bit difficult 8 to 5 regular classes Very less holidays Mid sems and end sems are not easy to pass because professors dont give marks its very difficult here for us to pass in the exam

From seventh semester placement starts. Last year nearly 200 companies came and offered nealry thousand jobs. Highest CTC offered was 58 LPA. Average CTC for CSE is nearly 23 lpa and for ECE is 17 LPA. Medain for CSE is 18 lpa and median for ECE is 14 LPA. Overall median CTC is 10 lpa.

Placements are fairly good if you get a good gpa overall and try to get some skills you can definitely get a good pay job , however the percentage of student being placed is less so you might face difficulties if you couldn't bag a good gpa overall

After the completion of 2nd year you are eligible for internship of approx 6 months and after completion of 3rd year you are eligible for placement with certain cgpa Cartier. Many goos companies visit BIT Mesra like Amazon, Facebook, oracle, HTCE, ect. If especially i consider my branch then the percentage of students getting placed is about 80 percent.

From the third year students go for internship. No of companies visit our college like goldman sach, Google, Microsoft, Tcs , oyo , flipkart, amazon, etc. Highest package is around 56 lakhs and average package is around 14 lakhs. 80 to 90 percent students get placed. My plan is to join the army.

I chose Electronic and communication engineering because of viability of course. The professor of ECE department will really make you upset and are really ruthless. But the placement wise it is ok ok type of scene.

Students generally from 3rd year get into internships and students in 4th year actively participate in placements. Most good companies visit the campus placements such as google, microsoft, amazon, atlassian, ans all other such tech giants in the computer sector and companies like intel, nvidia, texas instruments and such electronic based heavy giants visit for electronics core placment. Highest package of 2023 in ECE went to 83.5 LPA and average was close to 17 LPA. I plan on getting a good placement or a good internship in either core electronics or software sector at the end of the degree.

From 6th semester they are eligible if they are very skillful. Many companies like Adobe acs tisco visited. Highest on campus package was 52 lakhs . Percentage was 84% and my plans after getting a degree is good placement

According to my rank AI&ML was the best branch i was getting, bit mesra offers a lot of courses in various fields. Mesra has a faculty student ratio of 1:18 which is nice. All the faculty members are highly qualified and have done their studies from top universities and are here after gaining a lot of experience. Mesra has a exam structure of 4 exams in one semester it goes like : QUIZ 1, MID SEM, QUIZ 2 and END SEM .
