NSUT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Faculty members are very good and all of them have very good knowledge of their subjects. We can ask your doubts anytime during the class. After the class also we can clear our doubts. The overall teaching style is very good.

Placements are the heart of NSUT. Students from the 7th semester are eligible for the placements. Companies like Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, golds man, etc come to the college every year. Last year the highest offered package was 108L and more than 300 companies came. I also have a plan of getting placed after BTech.

Placement season usually begins in the 7th semester which is the beginning of the 4th year. All top companies visit the campus roughly 200 companies with multiple offers. Percentage-wise most of the students get placed through on-campus placements.

Our campus placements are very good. A proper cgpa has to be maintained and one gets easily placed. TNP of our college regularly informs students about such opportunities and placement success in the cs branch is 90%.

I chose the cs branch because I wanted to explore this field and see the future trend I chose CS IT includes subjects like DSA, Development like ML, and Data Science web d so it was fascinating for me so I chose it. The faculties are well qualified but in college, we have to study on our own(in most colleges).

The best about our college is the placement culture. Talking to my seniors the first thing they said to me was we don't care because we know we will get jobs if we are at NSUT. The average package ranges from 14 to 20 lacs depending from branch to branch

I chose this course because I had an interest in computer science. Moreover, I think I can do better in this field rather than in other fields and the placement guarantee is also much higher in this field. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:100. Most of the faculty have done their Ph.D. from respective iits. And they teach according to old and conventional teaching methods. Exams are always on time i.e. after 2 2 months and they are much easy to clear.

I chose data science because it is a demanding field and it has a very high scope in the future it includes subjects like NLP, big data ml, and deep learning. faculty are well qualified but you have to study on your own.

The placement of this college is good. placement percentage of the computer science branch always remains nearby 94-95% and approx 150 companies visit our campus for the hiring of students. And there are approx 40 companies which offer 20+ loa per annum.

7th-semester students are eligible for campus placements. CGPA is also important and is one of the factors that companies look at when selecting candidates for their entrance test. My plan personally is to get a job first
