It offers a great placement after the course completion, companies like microsoft, amazon google, flipkart and other companies like goldman sachs come to recruit new freshers in their companies and even offer internships as well.
The fests conducted in our college are worth enjoying and marvelous talent is encouraged.
No fees hike policy.cost to study is a bit high for a government organisation but it's worth it.scholarship opportunities financial assistance and job opportunities are very satisfactory over here.

Dislikes

The scholarship availability should not be below 5 lakh.. it should be a larger number beacuse 5 lakh income is lower income than a lower middle class family.
The faculty advisor is a very rude and strict person who doesn't understand the student's problems.
Placements for lower branches are not that good and being a remote area more companies are not coming to college

Very hectic academic schedule

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is very good. Once you get into the pre-final year you become eligible for the placements. There is a placement cell that calls HRs of different companies for placements. Companies like Microsoft, Byjus, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Deloitte, Capgemini, and Amul. Accenture, has different government employers as well. For MBA the highest package is 12lac pa, the least is lac pa and the average is 10 lac pa.

As the School of Management, NIT Rourkela is a new department so it is in Growing mode every year placement statistics are rate is increasing, In the last year, the average was 7.5-8.2 LPA and the highest was 12 LPA.

The placement of the college is very good and the people have a great future who are passing from this institute have. Seniors are very friendly and they cares about the placements. More than 90% placed and some are willing to higher study also.

The placements in the college are easily provided since it is a good NIT. The number of companies visiting is increasing rapidly. It is reportedly said that the average package was 13 LPA this year which is 3lpa more than the previous. Almost all students get placed.

After the 8th sem, they are eligible for placement Almost all companies visit our college Like Google Amazon Goldman Sachs Adobe Wipro TCS Near about 78% of students get placed while this yr highest package was 2.48 cr off campus by some hot company My plans after getting the degree are to grab the placement

4-year B.Tech is applicable for campus placement. All companies that visit make an offer. The highest campus placement is 50 LPA. The average package is 9lpa. Every year all students get placed. Off-campus placement is way too good here.

There is a great placement that starts this year with the highest being 45 LPA and the average being 12.38 LPA. A total of 77 companies visited our .campus last year and a large number of students were placed in it.

A friend at NIT Rourkela gave me a detailed review of her college the last time she visited me. Here are some highlights from her descriptive experience

NIT Rourkela has a huge, serene, and well-secured campus.
The institute has diverse clubs that promote extracurricular activities and their performance is better than most clubs of other engineering colleges.
Decent Internet speed is offered and the Dc++ is well maintained.
The hostels are well-maintained and decked with all the basic amenities one could ask for.
Students are actively involved in sports such as gymming and swimming.
The faculties are a mixed bag. Some are underqualified and lethargic while some motivate you to become a better person.
The institute boasts of an extensive entrepreneurship culture.
The institute needs to work on increasing its alumni base and the level of fests it organizes given the huge income the institute generates.
The placement scenario varies from branch to branch. It's decent for branches like CS while pathetic for others.
Rourkela does not have any places to explore and also lacks flight connectivity.
The city of Rourkela is one of the cleanest places so hygiene is not an issue here.
