NIT Patna Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There are nice placement and internship oppurnuties in my college after 2020. Companies come from the third year so you can apply from the third year onwards. Big companies like Google, Amazon, Atlassian, Microsoft, Facebook, Goldman Sachs, Infosys, L&T, and lots (approx more than 100 companies ), and especially for CSE students get 100 % placement. another branch student also gets a good offer. The highest package is 160 crore CTC Facebook Average package 16LPA. I will Join an SDE role in a product-based company.

Students are eligible for campus placement after 6 sem. There are many companies that come for placements like Goldman Sachs, Facebook, Infosys, L&T, etc. This year there are 110% offers that will come to our college campus. In the CSE dept, all students were placed and overall 70% of students were placed. I want to take a placement in the IT sector.

I choose this course because I get this. Actually, I want to get admission to the CS branch but I didn't get it. Faculty- Student Ratio is 1:7. All faculty are highly qualified and have a very good teaching method. There were 2-time exams conducted in a semester(mid-sem and end-sem), other than some class tests, viva, etc.

The students are eligible for placement in the 4th year of their course. Many companies visit for on-campus recruitment, some of them are Amazon, Atlassian, HDFC bank, ICICI bank, Ifoedge, Ola, Paytm, phonpe, etc. Each year almost all students get placed. The placement statics are not too a good a few years ago, but in recent years they have improved a lot. The highest package for the year 2022 was 1.60 crore per annum, and the average package is 12.71 lakhs per annum. The placement percentage for last year(2022) was 100%.

A good scenario of placements in our college. we are able to sit for placement from the 4th year, 7th sem. I think All major companies visit at least one time, the highest package is 1.8 cr off campus and I guess 52 lakhs. 90 percent of the students got placed. I planned for GATE.

Students can sit in placements from the 7th semester and they can avail of internships from the 5th semester. As per the statistics, the highest package offered to the students during NIT Patna placement was INR 1.82 crore per annum, whereas the average and minimum packages were INR 12.67 LPA and INR 8.8 LPA, respectively. As per the reports, a total of 132 recruiters visited the campus to hire the most talented or skilled manpower. It also came out that CSE, Electronics, and IT branches bagged the maximum number of offers this year. The top recruiter of 2022 was Facebook, though it was off campus, On campus placement, offers include Atlassian 27 lpa, adobe 44 lpa, parth universal 45 lpa etc. CSE have 100 per cent placements and electronics and communication engineering have 90+ per cent placement, electrical and mechanical have 80+ per cent and civil has 60 + per cent of placement and it is further going to improve as per the statistics and proposed plan of NIT Patna

From the seventh semester placement of students starts. Samsung, Paytm, Adobe, and 10+ companies visit in National Institute of Technology Patna. 1500000 lack is the Average package of the CSE Department and the maximum package is 1.08 caror. 103 % of students in the CSE department got placement offers. My plan after getting a degree doing a job in a good company.

Placements are improving every year. In the recent placements (2021) batch, the overall placement percentage was 80%. For the EE department, it was 70%. Many students target software roles. The highest package was 30 LPA, the lowest 5 LPA and avg was 8 LPA. Top recruits include Godrej, Oyo, Paytm, Deloitte, Mindtree, Zs Associates, American Express etc. Internship opportunities are fewer in comparison to other Nits. College helps students in getting internships.

From the 7th semester every student is eligible for placements and any student can get an internship from the 5th semester. Many companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. visit our college and the average package offered is 17 lakhs per annum and the highest package gone to date is 1.6 crores. And in my branch, 88 percent of students get placed with 2-3 job offers per student. And my plans are to get placed in IT related sector.

Placements of the NIT Patna is rising exponentially over the last 3 years and it is supposed to keep rising. In the year 2020-21, Avg Package was 13.97 lakhs per annum with the highest package of 1.6cr. This year more than 70% of students have been placed and placement session has just started, with an average package of 16.5 lakhs which is supposed to increase further. More than 150 companies visit the campus including Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Atlassian, Cred, and Texas Instruments. In 2020-21, 100% of students were placed.
