IIM Raipur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The final-year students are eligible for the final placement. The average is around 17.73 lacs p.a. The company visits the college as high as 113+ and the college provided 100% placements in various domains, roles, and positions.

The placement process is highly competitive and rigorous, as the institutes are known for producing some of the most highly sought-after management graduates in India and around the world. The placement process usually begins in the second half of the final year. In recent years, the placement process at IIMs has seen an increasing number of top companies participate, with many companies offering top-notch packages to students. The average salary offered to students during the placement process has been increasing steadily over the years, and many students are able to secure high-paying jobs with leading companies. 100+ companies visit, 100% of the students get hired, the highest package provided was 42.15 lacs, and the average was 17.73 lacs. And I intend to work for the organization where I am placed, gain valuable corporate experience, and learn a lot from practical experience.

The placements are doing exceptionally well at IIM Raipur. The placement season begins in August for both summer placements for a period of 2months as well as for final placements. This year more than 100 companies participated in the process ranging from Indian companies like Reliance, Asian Paints, etc. to international companies like Amazon, Morgan Stanley, etc. The highest package stands at 60Lakhs and the average package offered stands at 18Lakhs. The recruitments are made in a variety of domains like Marketing, Finance, IT, Operations, and Consulting. The profiles offered are Finance Analysts, Consultants, Management Trainees, Marketing Specialists, Data Analysts, etc. The college placement season enjoyed 100% placements for both summer and final placements and the credits go to the placement committee of the college and the exceptional students. My summer internship is at Reliance Retail as a Strategy intern and I want to make a career as a strategy consultant.

The placement has been better than usual. Multiple opportunities are provided for the students to grab better packages time and again. 100% of the batch is placed. I am planning to join the company in which I have been placed post-MBA.

In the first year, we were eligible for the summer internship process. In the second year, we were eligible for final placement. There were more than 100 companies that visited our campus. 90%+ students get placed.

IIM Raipur boasts a 100% placement record, with students working for excellent companies and earning reasonable incomes. The majority of students are placed during their summer internships. Among the top recruiters are Google, EY, Amazon, Samsung, GS, Wipro, Mckinsey, Godrej, Panasonic, IndiaMART, and others. The highest ctc was for 41 LPA, while the average salary was for 16 LPA.

Around 100% of the students of 2018-2020 batch got placed from our college. Even 100% of students were placed for SIP in the batch of 2019-2021. The highest salary package offered for campus recruitment in college was 75 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 8 LPA. There were around 4 international salary packages as well.

Our CAT interview process is IIM and I am giving you about the IIM Trichy Chennai campus. So we went there and the hospitality very good. And initially, there was one person, he verifies all the documents. And then we went to for CAT exam and were given with pen and paper. We were asked to write on paper and after waiting for a while, they were calling per person one by one. The interview happens in about 15-20 minutes. The interview was started with the basic questions, tell me about yourself? And then they briefly bring to my file, college projects and some business idea. And they asked about my hobbies and even I danced in my interview. That was the funniest part of the interview. Finally, they asked me about the current scenario and I was quite confident about all my answers. I was pretty sure that I would convert all the points.

So when I got mails from where I had selected, I went to college profiles and everything and I had a look at the companies that came for placements. The kind of campus they had and also I went through the LinkedIn profiles of the alumni and for which companies they are working and internally how they are doing. I also spoke to a couple of people who are there and try to get an idea of how the campus life feels and how to appear to learn and alumni pings and connect with us. So considering these things, I found Raipur to be the best fit.

One of the reasons I choose IIM Raipur over IIM Ranchi and IIM Udaipur is that IIM Raipur is clearly better than other IIMs like Bodh Gaya, Jammu, and Indoor. Among Udaipur, Ranchi, and Raipur I chose Raipur because it has the highest RY in terms of fees and the median salary which is provided by IIM Raipur is around 14.5 Lakh and the fee is lesser than both Ranchi and Udaipur. And Raipur has its own campus.
