IIM Raipur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students do an internship in the first year for 2 months and get placed by the college committee/ Placement cell. Then for 2 years final placements take place. There is 100% on campus placements in IIM Raipur.

The first thing I got attracted to this college is, among the new IIMs it really performs well in the case of placement and in terms of studies, in that way I think IIM Raipur is doing great. Being an MBA grad getting the corporation demos online that how can we get exposed to software and its features. I opted for this college over others because of the placement report of last year and also I live in Bhopal so it will be convenient to travel.

So, Raipur was head in terms of low fees, low educational fees, facilities wise a permanent campus. It had a good ratio of students is to faculty and even I had a few reviews so I had a few alumnis from my undergraduate college who were in Raipur and I spoke to them so they gave pretty good feedback about the college or his college and then I also had spoken to other people from other colleges from my undergraduate institutes. So I did a comparison and I meet a matric comparison, so I came to the decision and went into the Raipur.

As I am interested in pursuing marketing, I checked better profiles, companies come to IIM Raipur. I also looked the placement brochure and there was a mass increase in average CTC's as compared to Udaipur, Jammu,Bodhgaya,Srimour cannot be compared as they are BBIM so I chose IIM Raipur.

IIM Raipur is selected because of the factor that IIM Raipur is at 28th position in Indian ranking for MBA. Placement of IIM Raipur is very good. And many companies came in IIM Raipur for recruitment.

After screening all collages IIM Raipur is selected because of higher return on investment, less fee structure compare to other IIM's. Apart from this they have international exchange program tie up 26 universities across the globe, students go there in term exchange and get to learn more. Plus there is no first cum first basis in choosing seat electives for the course, there is liberty to choose and proportion to choose accordingly. As IIM Raipur focus on learning.

I chose IIM Raipur over other IIMs because of the placement report they have and various companies that have been visiting the college so these things really mattered to me.i have short listed for the CAT exam, the first round of selection is WAT (written ability test) consequently you have to give your interview and based on your interview performance, profile, etc. they will short list you for the further selection process.
