IIM Raipur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement cell works hard to place the whole batch. For the batch of 2018-20, 100% placement was achieved. No of the recruiters were 150+ with 50 new recruiters. We also have prominent recruiters like Deloitte, cognizant, icici. The average package offered was 15.2 LPA. The median salary offered was 14.78LPA and the highest package offered was 46LPA. The top 25% begged an average package of 21.28 LPA

The institute secured 100 percentage Summer and final placements. The average placement, median placement, highest package domestic, highest package international were 15.2 lakhs, 14.78 lakhs, 28.12 lakhs, 46 lakhs respectively for the batch of 2018-20.

Placement season starts after the 4th semester, and last year 180 recruiters attended the placements and all were placed, prominent names were Deloitte, ICICI Bank, KPMG, Tata Steel, Indian Oil, etc. The highest package was 28 Lacs and many students received PPOs. 100% of students got placed from the campus.

The placement process starts from the beginning of the First Term boosting the professional upliftment of the students in terms of CV updates and Interview preparations. The Placement Committee works round the clock to provide Summer Placements and Final Placements which go on simultaneously. As many as 150 recruiters offered various roles to the Batch of 2020 across multiple domains. the industry-wise break up is BFSI: 20%, Strategy and Consulting: 18%, IT & ITES: 18%, Manufacturing : 16%, FMCG: 6%, E-Commerce: 5% and Others: 6%. The institute has been registering 100% placements with the Highest Domestic package of 28.12 LPA and the Average Package of 15.2 LPA. My plans after the degree are to take up a Job aligned with my area of interest and enter the corporate globe.

Placements are pathetic too be honest, most of the companies for SIP are startups paying 10K- 20k. Expect only 10 renowned companies which will include Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Cognizant, Asian Paints, United Breweries, Kotak Mahindra etc.

The placements are great as compared to the peer IIMs. The average placement of the college was 15.2 LPA and for the summer internship, the average stipend is 88k. 100% placements happen in our college. Companies visited include Amazon, Deloitte, ICICI, Asian Paints, Cognizant, Ashok Leyland, etc.

From the 3rd trimester, we are eligible for campus placements. More than 130 companies visit the campus and make multiple offers fro various domains. Highest package: 48,00,000, Average Package: 15,00,000. It is always a hundred percent placement in IIM Raipur.

IIM Raipur being the new IIM, the placements are decent. Considering the Placement reports according to 2020 report, the average package stood at 14.2 lakhs and the Median package stood at 15 lakhs. All the students of the batch were placed in final placement as well as the summer placements.

The class of 269 students in PGP batch 2019-21 saw over 140 recruiters participating in the recruitment process. 46% of its students were placed in the field of sales and marketing while 17% in the financial management area. The final placement of PGP batch 2018-20, on the other hand, witnessed over 150+ recruiters with 50+ new recruiters. The average and the median salary stood at 15.20 Lakh and 14.78 lakh, respectively. The top 25% of the batch took an average salary of Rs. 21.28 LPA. The highest package offered was Rs 46 LPA.
