I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

Likes

Club are available that link the students and provide many opportunities.
Library facilities are also available here .

Dislikes

Campus is very small so not all sufficient facilities are available.
Hostel is not sufficient for all students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester you have eligible for campus placement. Microsoft, Adobe, LnT, reliance, zs associate, the salt and many more and all the company hire 10 to 20 students. The highest package is about 55 lakh per annum and average package is about 10 lakh per annum. About 70 Percent students are placed. I want to run a startup that is my plan.

Nit Raipur an emerging college of opportunities

It has a good area and people here is good there is market nearby and it is center of the city
Railway is nearby it 4.5 km and there is a railway station beside the nit that connect the main railway station that is good for us

Dislikes

There is no hostel facility for all the students and campus is not too large this areas is not good for summer

Placement Experience:

After the 3rd year and no backlog student will eligible for the campus placement Aditya Birla ,paradhan,l&t jsw and many more for core and those people who choose non core there is also good placement and offers for tech The highest package of the branch is 22lpa and average package is 11lpa There is 70-80 Percent of student who placed from campus My plan is clear to get the campus placement and also want a government job in civil engineering

The CBCS scheme of Nit in which our curriculum is based .
Campus life is very good and also we will get free Dispensary access for medical help.
Campus is covered form trees that provides us a very healthy environment.

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not available much .our campus infrastructure is not so good .
We only have one cricket and one football ground.even we doesn't have our own Auditorium.
Hostel facility is not available for all the students.most of students live in pG.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year, students will have to do internship programes . Some students who performed well during their internship in companies may get pre placement offer (PPO). In our college most of the students get placed during the campus placement. Placement percentage of civil is approximately 70 percentage in civil engineering. Most students go for IT companies and majority of students placed for Data analyst. After my graduation, I will appear for the UPSC ESE exam.

Likes

College is very much prone to tech oriented culture
No ragging culture is there in the college because of the strict rules of the association and college
Campus life is good and fests are interesting

Dislikes

Campus is not too small for other recreational things
Hostel facility is limited to only few candidates
Faculty are very bad in teaching to be honest

Placement Experience:

Placements are nice some candidates get upto 35-50 LPA and avg. Placement is 10 LPA Also out campus employement is also nice last year a student got off campus placement of about 1.5 crore PA also about 50-60% students get placed in every branch and in higher branches it goes upto 80-90%

I really like the fests and professor coordination with students
A lot of diverse peoples talk around our country came to an our college I really like to interact with them
Our college has a big contain and also there are a lot of restaurants so i enjoyed eating here

Dislikes

Even though I do not live in hostel I have seen the condition of hostels the bathroom is not goodare not be
Internet connectivity here is not good. College Wi-Fi doesn't work the sometimes properly and signal is not reachable in many places here
The campus lacks greenery also there are not proper management of the parking here

Placement Experience:

You become eligible for campus placements in 4th year Name of the companies which visited our institute are Vedanta group L&T TCS Amazon Flipkart Highest package 42 lakh Per student 6 lakh approx Percentage of student placed 68-72% approx I want to go to higher studies at iits and make carrer in research field

the most attrective part of our college is our central garden.
the way of celebration of every festival is very memorable so i like to join all the festivals with my friends
Teachers and faculty are so calm and very helpful.

Dislikes

our campus is very small and very old infrastructure.
benches of our classes and we don't have a very big prectical classes.
the library is very small only 70 students can study in one time.

Placement Experience:

A student who is in 7th semester eligible for placement and then after 8th sem he can do job on that company which provide a placement. a lot of companies visited in our college like flipcart, amazon, tata , google, hero, golfman sachs, prism, tvs, virtusa, adani, fico, directii,samsang. the highest package is about 50 lakhs in IT branch and Meta branch ( approx 48 lakh) currently and the average package is 10 lakhs and this is for every branch . so the 70 to 80 % are placed every year and got job . my plans is to be a professor in college and teach my students in my own way and also teach how to grow up in their life, how to handle the all situation in every moment of life.

NIT RAIPUR -A Roller Coaster Ride

The experience we have here is very good entire college have a nice environment with Greenery everywhere.
Great faculty who are there for you at every part

Dislikes

Large syllabus which you to cover in short time.
The duration of the semester exam are less you don't get proper time to enjoy
Hostels are less so you have to maintain good cpi

Placement Experience:

The placements are good enough many companies for both core and non core visit in the college and majority of students get placed here if you have a decent cpi and have enough skill then you have a placement guarantee.

The most Honest Review of NIT Raipur

Likes

I really liked the placement here for tech and core branches
I liked the connectivity with the city as the college is in city center

Dislikes

The faculty here is very much old, experienced but very low energy
75% attendance system is gonna be the real pain

Placement Experience:

Our College National Institute of Technology offers some great placements also it is so good on on-campus placements for both tech and core branches and specially core branches got some really good placements

NIT Raipur Inside details

Likes

Library is pretty good. Approx all academic books are present in library and we can also borrow book from library for 3 months
Sports club is very nice here. We got opportunities for showing our sports mania here.
Placement is good here. Most students get placed.

Dislikes

Campus area is not big. It is around 100 acres which is small compared to other nits
Everyone is not getting hostel here. Only top 20 percent students get hostel facilities
Faculties are somewhat strict. They don't give marks in examination.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become applicable for campus placement. Moreover, students can get off campus placement by their own. Many companies visit to nit Raipur. Highest package got by students in year 2023-24 are around 55 lakh per anum. My plans is to get campus placement and enjoy my rest of life.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
