I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

Nit Raipur above average college

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem student become elogible for campus placement. Company visited were infosys. Wipro , Tcs, vedanta, bsp etc.Highest package our college got was 52 lakhs that too from adobe company i don't know the profile offered although i think it is software development 60% student get palcement. My plans after my degree is online business

NIT Raipur at a Glance

Remarks:

It's past records of brilliance and excellence. Also, its location in the capital of C.G. I was also highly fascinated by the tag of NITRR being a college of national importance. Further, I was enthusiastic about the infrastructure of the college.

NIT Raipur in limited words

Remarks:

The factor that made me chose this college was BRANCH. I was very interested in Computer Science and Engineering and that made my choice. I had two other options: 1. Mechanical at NIT Durgapur 2. Industrial Engineering at MNIT Allahabad. Speaking about the college, NIT Raipur is one of the oldest colleges in India. The college has good infrastructure and faculty support. The alumni base of college is large and is spread from India to abroad. Having a good average placement stats, this college was the right choice for me.

Campus Visit

Remarks:

Best : Education Quality In our college we can study free of mind and with enjoyment. A huge library is there for study and for taking books from there. Worst : Hostel management In Our college hostle place is less, that's why more student need to away from college

NIT Raipur,a milestone.

Remarks:

Basically raipur is nearer to my hometown and there is no travel issue as there are daily trains to and fro. And NIT Raipur has Information Technology branch which is almost equal to computer science.

Besides hostel facility, one can get what they thought about the college before entering into it.

Placement Experience:

Every year, campus recruitment drives were organized and many students will be placed in their desired companies. Most of the visited companies were IT based and mining and Metullargy industries. Average package of teh students placed is around 7 lpa. As I am a biotech guy, I am planning to go for higher studies.

A GOOD CHOICE FOR PURSUING CAREER

Placement Experience:

The college provides good preplacement, internship and final placement opportunities to all its students. The activities start from the 3rd year onwards. Almost all the leading tech and non-tech core companies visit the campus for students placement. Almost all students from CSE & IT branch get placed with good companies of repute. Placements for electronics are quite a descent. For other core branches, the placements are still good compared to many other colleges. The highest salaries offered are about 22 lacs per annum and average salaries are around 9 lacs per annum.

The Best Central India College

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed in a nice way so that it will be easy to get all the things easily. Faculties behavior is very nice towards the students. They help students at every point. The faculty: student ratio is 1:10. There are 2 exams. The first one is midterm and the second one is end term. The midterm exam is easy but the end term exam is tough sometimes but one can pass easily by giving a little effort.

Campus placements are actually good. more than 600 peoples from my batch get offers. Circuital branches have a 100% placements record. The Branches like CS, IT, ETC got 100% placements record from past few years.

Placement Experience:

Ã¢Â€Â¢ Students get eligible placements from their fifth semester i.e their 3rd-year middle. Ã¢Â€Â¢ Many famous companies like Wipro Amazon Google cloud etc come to offer placements. Ã¢Â€Â¢ Over 80 companies come to offer employment for nearly 800 students in a year. The same situation can be seen electrical department. Ã¢Â€Â¢ The highest average package announced as per the company is above 10 lacs per annum and the profiles offered are to the talented bright students. Ã¢Â€Â¢ Nearly 65 % of the students are placed every year. Ã¢Â€Â¢ I would like to appear for Gate and go for a public sector job in my core subject i.e the Electricity department.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
