I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

NIT Raipur Review

Placement Experience:

The college placement is quite good. The college placement committee and the college management work together to improve the quality of the placement. The college maintains a record of 100% placement. The highest placement offer of the college is around 19 LPA and the average salary offer is approx 11 LPA. The college placement committee members are quite professional and I am sure that we will see an increase in the college placement offers.

Placement Experience:

Placements are kind of average. Very few companies come for the core branch but for tech-related roles, many companies come but the placement ratio is good here. Approximately 70-80 students out of 100 students got placed in core and non-core sectors

NIT RAIPUR WHOLE ANALYSIS OF ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT.

Placement Experience:

from the 4th semester onwards internship is offered to students here in the electrical department and also you are fully eligible for jobs from the 7th semester many companies visits NIT Raipur like TCS, Adobe, Morgan Stanley, and many more such as big core and non-core companies visit NIT Raipur Campus, a good number of students are placed from electrical department around 70% from which highest package was 25 lacs/annum and avg package was 12 lacs/annum.

Placement Experience:

College offers very good placements oppurtinities to the students. About 80% students gets placed with an average of 9 LPA. In core fields placement is slightly not good. Last year 64 LPA was highest package grabbed by one of our college student. In Electrical branch placement was around 75% with an average package of 8 LPA. Also large number of students go for higher studies like M.Tech, MBA etc.

Placement Experience:

Student from 5-6 sem are eligible for pre placement offers in their internship.But in campus they are eligible from 7th sem having no active backlog in previous semesters.Companies like Vedanta,Adobe ,Infosys, Siemens, Wipro, infoedge, TVs, lafarge, samsung, fico,adani, JP Morgan Chase, ACC, Barclays,bharti etc.visited campus for recruiting students. About 60-70percent students get placed every year with an average of 9 lakh per annum salary.

NIT Raipur - Mechanical Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mechanical is an evergreen engineering branch. Someone with interest in Physics and Machines should definitely go for it. The faculty student ratio is also good and almost all the teachers are PhD holders. The exams are moderate, one who studies a week before exams can pass.

Decent college with ample opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placements for the electrical department are decent, you can find more annual package on corporate or what you can say IT sector side, than on the core side. I am interested in the core sector, so I am much more into competitive examinations like gate than placements coz I want a PSU job. U can get the placement stats from the college website, I may not be correct about it, but u can take it between 5-6lpa(or more) for core and 6/7-9 LPA(or more) for the non core.

The placement ratio is very high almost 90% and various companies participate in it, the highest package was 57.5 lakhs this year and the minimum was 5 lakhs. Students are eligible to sit in placement in their 4 year onwards

In my computer science branch, almost everyone gets placed. The highest package of this year is 60 lakh. In this college, about 80 % of students get placed. After getting a degree I really want to focus on some startups.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
