DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

DTU campus placements are arguably the best. CSE definitely holds the highest degree of payments but Mechanical too has a certain degree of placements that around 80-85 percent students get placed through campus. Companies of highest reputation like L&T, DRDO and many other government and private sector companies come to our college for placements.

The students gets eligible for the placements from fourth year. The companies comes and goes by. The head of placement cell confirms the different guidelines for applying for the company. Around 20- 50 companies visited , made that much of offers. The highest package offered was 2.3 CR and average package was 56 lakhs. Around 60%- 70% students,got the placements. Getting into startups after degree.

The placement is great for top branches with average above 20LPA but as the branch goes down, the package decreases. The average of mechanical is somewhere around 11-12LPA but this is when there are 400-500 students in mechanical!

As I m in compure science so there are almost 85-90% of students are getting placed out of 450 in compure science and in other branch as well...so if we talk about overall including every branches more than 50% students are placed ... seriously many of there students didn't want to job so they didn't apply for those and look for their own startup and any other thing as well...

Being in 1st year only , the exact stats of placements are not disclosed to us as they are confidential . I will tell you what I know, this year almost 70% students got placed from our branch(i.e. Computer Science) with an average salary of arounf 20 LPA and highest being around 70 LPA.

Placement are offered in dtu . In upper branches like cse , it and mac placement ratios are about 100 percent . In core branches like mechanical and electrical it's about 60 -70 percent. In lower branches it's quite low about 40 percent

After 6th semester students are eligible for the campus placements . Idk this info as i am fresher . Highest is above 1.5CR and Average is 15-20lpa . Almost 70-80% of the people gets placed everytime . After the degree i will be going to pursue my careeer in Video editing .

My specific aspects from this college is placement is so good that why I chose DTU college labs are not work on model machine they use old machinary system for understanding students.modern machine can be needed in mechanical department.exams are in easy and average you can score good marks the timing of per exams 3 hours in end sem

From 6th semester students are eligible for the placements. META,JP MORGAN,BAIN,MC.KINEY,GOOGLE,MICROSOFT,AMAZON and many companies visits DTU every year and In 2024 over 2053 offers were made by the comapnies. Highest package was 85 LPA and average was 15 LPA. There are many profiles pffered by the companies like Softwre engineer,Data Analyst,Consultants and many more. Around 70-80% students are places inside DTU. My plans after the degree is to join a company and do job and upskill myself.

Placements are better ofcourse it's tier -1 college almost every company tech non tech and core branch jobs almost 80% students placed and average goes from 12 lpa for cse it's 22 lpa the highest is 1.2 cr and lower is 6.5 lpa . after degree my plans is to settle in non tech role in mnc
