DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement of my college is amazing, beating top NITs and 2nd gen IITs. Students are eligible for placement after the completion of their 6th semester. All the big companies visit my college and take good amount of students last yesar the no of offer were more than 2000 . Highest package usually goes above 1cr and average is around 16-19 lpa. almost 80-90% students get placed every year. amanzon google, atlassian ,flipkart, bain and comapny, bcg, delloite and many more big comaponies come for on campus placement

okayish placement if you study good you have a 8.5+cg or you have some good projects etc to mention in your cv then 15 lpa around placement is avg for lower branches and for upper branches like cs mce etc the evg package is around 20-21 lpa mostly all top companies come like amazon, mckinsey, apple , bcg , bain etc aprox 50-60 percent highest package 85 lpa and lowest 3.33 lpa ai/ml job or core elec job

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

Companies like Google, Hindustan Copper, KPMG, Deloitte and perhaps over a hundred companies come to KPMG. Average placements is around 5 to 6 lakhs. Although many students every year gets placements worth 10 lakhs or more as well.

From defense like Indian Navy to Indian Army and then companies like Capital Finance, AU Small Finance Bank and others are the ones which prominently offers us intenrships and jobs as well. So, jobs here are quite better than that of DTU.

Since this campusnis new and the placements cell is new, it is still trying and trying to make good industrial connections. Having the management college in the same campus helps as the same companies which comes to recruit them available our services too.

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

7th semester students eligible for placement There is so many companies in tech filed their is almost all the big names come like googal, microsoft,and in core also I think 60 percent in core branchs and 90 percent of tech students get placement easily I am thinking to do a business

The placements are fantastic , many companies like google amazon and FAANG companies come here . Although i cant compare it with top IIT s but still a 25 lakh per annum package in CSE is still remarkable. The placement cell is often influenced by Placement coordinator but then DTU takes action against them and debar them from placements . If one does not get placement in DTU. , the DTU tag will obviously be more than useful in after course placements

Students are eligible from 7th semester or 6th semester to seat in the placem theree are several companies domestic and international that visits Delhi Technological University for there placement there are 80-85% studnets get placemyi want to complete there degree and take a placement with campus
