IIT Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I.I.T. Delhi is really a student friendly they always take advice from student as well as experts and professors. I.I.T. Delhi community always tries to help each others. I haven't faced any bad aspects throughout my 1 year experience. Our admission starts in the peak of covid, I have submitted my fee payment in the last date 31st July 2020, Registration ends on Sept 17, 2020. Reason that I am here is I.I.T. Delhi is known for world class research in the field of optics and photonics and I am interested in this area of research also there is no other institution in India that can be better than this in this particular area of research.I am happy to share that I.I.T. delhi starts new Department·Optics and Photonics Centre from this year (2021) which creates more scope for students. From the 6th semester onwards, the students become eligible for placements. Some of them even get pre-placements. As it is an IIT, lots of tech giants and some biggest organizations come here for palcement drive. The average package is almost 15-20lakh per annum and the highest goes up to 3-4 crore per annum with no surprise. Almost 95% of students got placed. here it is nothing u worry about placement, if u focus on your self study.

IIT Delhi is one of the prestigious college of India and getting into it is just like a dream come true so that was the main reason for choosing it. One can get into an IIT by cracking JEE mains and advanced which happens every year.

VERY GOOD COLLEGE IN ALL ASPECTS. As IITD does not require any introduction but here are some interesting facts I want to share..1. Professors are very strict and loyal 2.You will get very good laboratory experience.3 Hostel and mess experience is awesome.

1. Academic excellence - IIT Delhi is among the best technical institutes globally, and there is a lot of focus on holistic development of students. We were trained to be problem-solvers. 2. Global exposure - Once again, IIT Delhi offers innumerable opportunities to gain global exposure in the undergraduate level. There is the foreign exchange program, internships and summer schools which we could apply to. 3. Research expertise: IIT Delhi excels in different verticals of research and development projects. There are frequent international conferences, and ~100 research papers are published each year. 4. Industrial connections: IIT Delhi has multi-faceted industrial connections, and there are several on-going technical and social projects. We also have an upcoming industrial park. 5. College culture - Student bodies like BSA (Sports), BRC (Cultural) and CAIC (Technology) are very much active and provide lot of recreational opportunities for students. We can play cricket, hockey, basketball, table-tennis and so on, and we also do drama, dance, paint, sing, debate, quiz and on and on. Technical clubs like iGEM, Axl8r, Robotics, Economics club also provide engaging opportunities to students. Simply, there's too much going on!

Brand Name and Top most University of India in terms of research. The education system and the level of teachers are far beyond anyone can think as an Indian like me, so I am happy that I'm here.

IIT Delhi is one of the prestigious institute of the country and is ranked among topmost colleges in India in terms of research and academics. Moreover, I belong from North India so the location was also perfect and the exposure I could get at metro cities including Delhi and Mumbai cannot be compared with any other colleges. The placement and the previous record of my seniors was also good from IIT Delhi.

I had to finalize from IIT Bombay or IIT Delhi. Industrial engineering was only available in IIT Rourkee & IIT Delhi.This made my choice clearer and also III Delhi is amongst the best engineering colleges in India & is located in New Delhi- a prime location, as well as e place where there is lot of opportunities for internships & placements.

Only the top 15% seem to get packages in the lakhs. The rest are offered less, but have wider availability of options considering the PSUs. Personally I wish to join a petrochemical or steel based company and put my degree to practical use.

The fee is less as compared to the colleges of similar stature( new IIMs). Every student gets a high quality laptop and there is a Global field study program wherein each student is sent abroad and a major part of the expense is borne by the institute. Also, the mix of undergrads and post grads helps in keeping up with the latest advancements which gets missed while you are in a PG focussed college. The campus was also an added factor along with the institute being in the national capital.
