IIT Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Good aspects : 1. Campus life is amazing! 2. Huge classrooms (The lecture hall complex is one of the finest architectures on campus) 3. Healthy competition (not all) 4. minimal restrictionsBad aspects: 1. Unhealthy competition(sometimes) 2. Bad hostel rooms (all other places have AC except rooms) Admission: Fun, lots of introduction games and stuff

Based on my rank in JEE Advanced and counselling I got the branch in this college based on my preference order. I wanted to be in an institution which can provide we platform to explore regardless of the branch I am in.

Firstly, IIT Delhi is a platform fromWhere you can achieve anything be it High salary, entrepreneurship, research and higher education, civil services, and what not to mention. We have Indias best labs in educational institutions and we are not limited to the discipline we choose, a physics student can do research in biology or a mechanical student can sit in coding interviews. Apart from that, we have very active clubs who are constantly putting efforts to develop the interest of students in their respective fields. We have the best professors who are internationally known. Our professors come from universities like Carnegie Melon, Caltech university etc.Secondly, it was my hometown that's why I did not choose IITs which could provide me with computer science degree. Living far from family is difficult.

My background was based on textile. I have done my b.tech in textile engineering and my intern also in Textile industry. This college is the top college of india. So this was the reason to chose this college

There are 8 semesters overall. A student becomes eligible after 6 semesters for campus placements. Meanwhile, you can go for internships after sem1 only. About 100 companies visit the college every year. And IITD has a really high placement percentage (~80%).

Placement Experience: The placements here are one the best features of the college. It is the heart of the college, most of the people who come here leave with 2-3 jobs in their hands, and most of them are quite well-paying jobs. The students in the final year are eligible to sit at placements and have to register themselves at OCS (offer of career services), The average placement is about 8-9 lac per annum, even for non-tech jobs. highest ranging up to 30-35 LPA from Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Microsoft. Many students who don’t opt for placements have a lot of chances to go for higher studies, either here or abroad.

About 85-90% of the students registering for placements are getting placed with an average of 8-9 LPA and highest ranging up to 30-35 LPA from Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Microsoft. Many students not opting for placements go for higher studies abroad.

The global brand value of an IIT, the caliber of students getting in (with a network that goes deep, with the college department being pretty old), good placements with an especially great ROI.All in all, a great college to be in!

After completion of UG 4th year student becomes eligible for campus placement and internships start from 3rd year onwards. Over 925 offers were made in 1st phase of the placement process 2020-2021 and companies like Microsoft, UBER, HCL, EXL were the highest recruiters The highest package grabbed was 1cr per annum and the average package is 16 lakh per annum Mostly all the students have got placed, so it was 100% approximately.
