It's a beautiful campus and well reputed university and the teaching staff is great with good experience
Every faculty members are not perfect but mostly are enough good with teacher and student bonding mind-blowing i can praise every staff members as well professors whose role is shaping students future wow
The hostels are quite decent and the food quality is also good.

THE 2ND CONS WILL BE ABOUT THE CAMPUS. SMOKING IS BAN IN CAMPUS BUT SOME CANTEENS SELL IT ILLEGALY WHICH IS NOT GOOD. 2. SOME CASES OF RAGING ARE ALSO SHOWN TIME TO TIME
In Jamia there is so many courses but the management for all courses are not enough good. Administration should take action regarding all the courses. Nowadays in jamia the management is going slow down. I mean it not effective in favour of students.
I don't like to Cheers of my university,and there are lots of things which have no importance of using in jamia Millia Islamia University and there are lots of disturbance in reading hall of jamia

I like the faculty supportive nature and ready to help behaviour.

Dislikes

The only thing i find it shortcoming was the security sector but that too has improved.

The curriculum is very promising as you can compete with others very easily and get away with good results. Faculty is always there for you if you face any issues academically or in social life too. We have faculty from every educational background, of various age groups.

Website problems occurs which results in wrong details of the students to show

Placement Experience:

The college provides good and high placement around 90% of students get their placement through college! Voltas, Larsen turbo and many more companies provide placement to students! Students get about 150000 a minimum package from the placement! A student got 70 lpa package from the college! I plan to study further pursuing a b.tech from the same branch (civil)

Jamia - The land of opportunities

Likes

The first and the fourmost thing a student will like about Jamia is that it's nominal fees of charging only 16000 per year
People here are nice including students staffs and teachers they behave well and don't restrict themselves to only being professionals but also discuss the real life problems
The placement here also is decent and is improving which leads to more opportunities and chances for average students

Dislikes

The campus could have been a little bit big but still it is okaish
The infrastructure could have also been better because it has been more than a 100 years (Jamia was initiated in 1920)
More involvement in the fest including technical and college fests which is necessary for development of students

Placement Experience:

The campus of Jamia is now increasing impressively. In the third semester's own words, students avail of the internships provided by the college itself. So many companies visited last year including Deloitte, Vedanta, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Bosch and many others giving an average placement of 9 lacs and the highest package was 25 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placement is increasing and has increased to more than 75% last year. My plans after getting the degree are also to get a handsome package at the campus itself and become a strong alumnus of Jamia Millia Islamia.

The campus is very good .it has the lowest fees structure in india

Dislikes

there are less number of socities available in jamia millia islamia.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good almost 85-90% of students get placed. The Highest placement in 2022 is 26 lpa and the average is around 9-10lpa. some of the top recruiters are Samsung, ICIC Bank, Accenture, etc. The college provides many internship opportunities to 2 and 3-year students.

Likes

Faculty is very friendly and kind , are always available to help to
All religions are equally respected and cared for
They say no to raging and if that happens students are rusticated on the spot

Dislikes

Gaurds misbehave with students sometimes
Dogs are not taken care of , they do not seem to be in control and enter
Control office of examination's management is very poor and needs to be improved

Bachelor's in fine arts (Applied arts) is a technical course, which allows you to work in fields like graphic designing, art direction, software work, advertiser, etc, hence the scope of your career is very wide in this, and the students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester when huge multimedia companies like fortheye solution, park secure, Honda and even Netflix India come to give offers. The highest package entailed till now is 2.5 lakh per month. After completing my bachelor's I'll be applying for a master's in VFX and animation from Jamia itself along with securing a job beside it.

The perks of being a jamian

Likes

Best thing about our university is its fest season.
Jamia’s infrastructure is phenomenal as well.
The faculty and staff of this college is very cooperative.

Dislikes

I don’t think that there’s something that we dislike about Jamia.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty members were helpful and cooperative they had a degree in the specific subject that they teach and I chose this course because I already had a diploma degree so this course will help me in the future for pursuing B.ed or master's.

Life in Jamia

Likes

I like the management and the people i met.
I liked the campus a lot its very peaceful and feels like home
I like the environment and the teaching they offer.

Dislikes

The staff sometimes can be rude in the administration department.
Sometimes outsiders comes inside the campus.
Because it’s govt college, things can take time to happen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it's a professional course and Jamia provides a better placement. The faculty here is great. They will help you understand everything and it'll be a great experience. The student ratio is 3:1. Exams are conducted every month with presentations.

Jamia and all about its engineering department

Likes

Its culture and lot of diversity in its campus
Very helpful professor and their behaviour towards students.

Dislikes

There is shortage of hostel so that thing dislikes more .
Sports facilities are limited where you can't play every sports.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our university course curriculum is purely based on engineering. Here faculty members are very good and supportive. They help in giving ideas about projects and assignments. They studied every subject with very high curiosity. The majority of professors are Ph.D. in their domain.

The campus is very good in Jamia millia islamia. The nature of people is very calm and supportive.

Dislikes

There very less number of societies available in Jamia Millia islamia.

The Faculty members are good enough to teach. There are 2 sessional exams and 1 end-semester exam per semester. Exams are moderate level if you study class notes it's enough. The faculty also teaches very well.

JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA: AN OVERVIEW

Likes

There is alot of exposure. There are many different clubs and fest going on, which provides a good opportiunity.
There are many part-time courses going on on half yearly basis. It includes Courses like Digital Marketing and language courses.
Jamia is affortable. Like if you have five, six thousand rupees you can easily stay, paying rent and for food.

Dislikes

The thing I do not like is all the students do not get the hostels. It become little difficult to find a good roma few you are new to Delhi.
Lastly, they have to make there placements better. Leaving few courses, there is almost no placements for other courses.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 3rd semester. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Mahindra, Samsung R&D and many more come for placements. But placements are mostly for two courses BTech and MBA. Other courses get very less placements.
