NIT Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There are a total of 31 NIT institutes in our country and NIT, Delhi is amongst the top names among them. NIT, Delhi was second for engineering in 2020 rankings of the famous NIRF group and it has been given status of National Importance Institution. It is also approved by AICTE and UGC agencies. The institute gives admissions on the basis of JEE Main score through the JOSAA counselling similarly like other NIT institutes.

NIT Delhi's M.Tech course gain it's popularity with its modern industry related curriculum and good placement record. DUET exam and B.Tech degree or UG degree in Engineering or Technical stream are considered as eligibility criteria. Final year graduation students are applicable for this course.

In the initial Final year, i.e 7th Semester students get eligible for campus placements. There are tons of companies such as Samsung, Tata, Microsoft, ZS, etc comes every year with decent packages. The highest till now is 46 lakh pa and the average is 10-15 lakh pa. Most of the profiles get selected are software development or Technical Consultant. I have a plan to get higher education after my graduation.

Placements are good compared to the other colleges. Many companies visit colleges and recruit the maximum number of people from the batch. Due to less strength, many students get the opportunity to get placed in their dream companies. So, placements are very good at this college.

Campus placements are good because our Placement cell works really hard to call the reputed companies for hiring and you'll definitely get a job if you are serious about it. Internship opportunities begin from 3rd year and placement also occurs from 3rd yr. A lot of companies like Swiggy, Capgemini, etc come here. Mass recruiters aren't invited. The highest to date is 43 lpa. The average for CSE last year was 9 lpa. My plan is to get placed after the degree.

NIT are a good place for pursuing B.Tech after IITs in India. Although NIT Delhi is new but still it is better than other private colleges. The placements record here are decent,My elder brother also studied computer science and engineering from the same college.

Good - average package is more than 9lakh per annum, goog in all academics,i am great full to be in this college and it is located in capital of india. Bad-It is new college and dont have own campus, the scenari is not much great. I have applied for josaa and from 1st-6th round I got NIT Durgapur, I skipped it and in 7th round I got NIT Delhi. I am not interested in special round, so I didn't applied for special round. I freezed NIT delhi and next I went to Vijayawada to fux my seat. So I went to NIT Delhi to submit my certificates. Few days later I joined NIT Delhi hostel.

It is the capital state and people had also given good reviews about NIT Delhi. As I had one more option ie IIIT Una but it was in the hills and did not have proper infrastructure, I chose Nit Delhi. The earlier placements were not that good but they were fine.

The location and the branch computer science.Also, new campus is being made which will provide more opportunities.Due to the location,more companies come to the college for placement.Also,computer science is one of the most in demand branches and the placement is also good here.Sports and fitness is taken good care of.Due to less students, there is more interaction between seniors and juniors.

Exposure during fests, webinars and club trainings. The TNP cell is quite active and the placement records are also quite impressive. The average placement and the highest package also attracted a lot. Quality education and an edge because it is situated in Delhi are also some of the factors.
