Du fest and some others where they do normal college things. Dance, and what not. I never attend them. Also freshers which is even worse like it feels you are in a village shaadi. Better not to attend if you want a good experience.
The books are really impressive. You can issue as many books you want from your I'd card given by college.
There is nothing technological in the college the computer never works in a computer room itself. There's no ac and no lights sometimes. Average goverment college experience. And sone classes are too small that you can't even go inside. Students are standing to aftent a class.
About extracurricular they actually do things. So pretty impressive but I have never seen them in dance or something. The other colleges who are listed after shyam lal are still better in these things.
Not many students participate in these.
Yes students run their groups and club it's just help them to not attend classes. Nothing else.
They do elections and actually enjoy it. The people enjoying this aren't from Delhi they are wanna be delhite.
The only impact is "how to disturb others mental health and show off".
As a student of DU SOL the concept of traditional campus life does not apply because itis a distance learning program There is no physical campus annual fests technical festivals clubs or sports activities like in regular college
My overall experience with campus life that was so bad because i did not focus on fmy study due to job
I was studing only exam time beacuse i did not have time , beacuse whenever i came back home after job i was so tried so that my college life experience was so bad
Most loved part of my college life is college society's where we have many options to choose our from. I was part of case building society and placement cell member. I have gained many skills from there like speaking to people confidently, arranging events, connecting with companies and many more. I must say that the societies in Hindu college are very well structured and controlled. One thing that I don't like about the college is that classrooms are too small, we have struggles many times and have switched classes during class tests to give seats to every student.
The campus life is too exciting though variety of societies in college like music, dance, art, business, finance planning etc etc. Also many fests keeps taking place around the year giving great exposure to students with different varieties and culture of different college students around the complete North campus of Delhi University.
At Delhi University, it is easy to explore multiple cultures because students come from all over the India to graduate in this organization. Also, you can indulge yourself in multiple programs and cultural societies.
The annual fest is Pallavi which takes place in February. Every year a good singer is called.
The library is huge with books of all sorts.
There are projectors in classes and the college has around 5-6 computer labs.
Lot's of sports are offered like football, hockey and volleyball.
There are a number of societies that are run by both students and teachers.
overall, my experience was good bit i faced a lot of problem because of my ER, i started my graduation in 2017 and it should have been completed in 2020-2021, but if finally got in completed in 2026, that's the reason i faced a little problem with my education ..
The infrastructure can be better that is for sure as the buildings stand old. Teh renovation is currently going on so we can expect better infrastructure in future and talking about the campus it's a beautiful campus.
We have our annual fest named MILAAN and various other societies have their own annual fest. They conduct their fests on a very grand level and they invite various artists , guest speakers, and influencers as well. It has also PAF ( npo) led by students.
