Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Companies like L&T, Reliance, Infosys, Essar Steel, Maruti Suzuki, etc visited the campus for placements. An average of 60 percent of students got the placement.

SVNIT SURAT IS FULL OF OPPURTUNITY AND AMAZING COLLEGE LIFE .

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students can apply for campus placements. last year. In 2021 companies are like amazon, adobe , Nokia , Deshaw, J.P. morgan, BYJU's, Vedanta, jio, L&T, Bajaj, Deutsche bank, axis bank. A total number of offers is 680 and 439 students got placed ( this is low because of a pandemic ) next year it will improve. The highest placement in chemical engineering is 10.5 lacs and the average package is 7 lacs around 67% of students got placed last year (2021) in chemical engineering. It will going to be increase in next years. My plan after getting a degree is will go towards entrepreneurship.

Here total 500+ company visit in collage some famous also visited like amezon, Adob, byju's, paytem, TATA power , Intel, Aditya Birla Group, Jio and TATA Consultancy service. Total 550+ placement offered given last year. highest package given by Adob is 40 lakh to Sweety jain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because placement is quite good in SVNIT, especially in the electronics and communication department. Academic quality is also very good. faculty: student ratio is about 1:20. The majority of professors and teaching assistants have PhD degrees. Examinations are taken strictly on time. It is not difficult to pass the examination.

My review of SVNIT is a mixed one. It is a good choice in almost every aspect other than sports.

For sports enthusiasts, SVNIT is not the right choice. The condition of sports facilities at our college is not good. The sports grounds are not in a good shape. The cricket/football ground becomes a grassland from July to December.

The indoor badminton courts, which are two in number, are immensely insufficient to cater to around 4000 students. Each one has to wait a long time for their turn, and is given around 10 minutes to play the sport. Such a huge number of students can not access the badminton courts for sufficient durations. MMNCT is the best sports event of the year. It is an inter-year cricket tournament that takes place at night. The gym is well designed and has all the modern equipment.

Many classes are boring. But a lot of the professors, especially in the Civil department, teach really well. The marking system is very transparent, and after 15-30 days post the exams, answer sheets are made available for students to have a look. The classrooms are also very school-like in appearance. The rules are lenient, and most teachers are satisfied with a 60% student attendance.

The location is quite good, and malls, theaters, etc. are easily accessible. The campus is located in a posh area of Surat. Places like Mumbai, Daman, etc. are easily accessible for getaways. The placements are top notch, the clubs are plenty and quite decent. The mess food is quite good as well.

Unless you are very serious about getting the best sports facilities, SVNIT is a good college. But for sports facilities, I would recommend you try for MNIT Jaipur.
