I chose this course because it is pretty interesting and challenging at the same time. You have to complete all your assignments, and design problems before the deadline and it is quite hectic. The faculty here is very friendly and hardworking. They give their best to teach us in every possible way. The student ratio in my class is 50:50. The faculty of architecture is well qualified with master's and PhD. There are three exams (Minor 1, Minor 2, Major exams) and one jury (only in architecture) in a semester.

I enrolled on the Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering faculty is well qualified and everyone has good domain knowledge. The teaching method is also good and they always listen to the students and help them to find the solution.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. In civil engineering companies like L&T, Tcs Berger Paint and many companies are there for selection highest paid placement is 10 lakhs given by Berger.

Placements are quite good in this college. Companies like Wipro, ZScaler, TCS, etc. visit our college. The University concluded 2022 placements with 455 students placed in leading companies such as Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Accenture, and many others. Out of all, Cognizant emerged as the top recruiter with the highest number of students selected during SMVDU placements in 2022.

I opted for economics because I wanted to understand businesses and markets. Because I want to see myself in business competition. And our faculty members were very helpful and friendly and also highly qualified. There are 10 to 12 faculty for one department effectively.

From the seventh semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Yet they prefer to go out after the 8th semester. Big companies like Amazon, tata, etc., usually come to my college and give us a good package. I will be a very good engineer after getting the degree.

Due to the location as it is in j & k and also it's a government college that makes it something you can go for. The faculty to students ratio is average. Qualification depends from faculty to faculty and branch to branch if you want the best faculties you should probably opt for CSE or Mechanical. Exams are like this for each semester 2 minor exams(20 of each) are taken and a major of 50 marks and the remaining 10 numbers are of quizzes and assignment, if you are an average student you will find it easy to pass as they only ask whatever example they solved in classroom

The placements are pretty good. The average package goes up to 3 to 4 lakhs.TCS, Orange, etc come on campus but some people have secured a 10 -12 lakhs package on campus only. The highest package is 42 lakhs from Microsoft. 70 to 80 percent of students are placed on average. As plans never end, but as for now getting placed in Qualcomm is my top priority and then after the gate exam.

Every 3rd sem student is eligible for placements in campus. Companies like Sriram, axis, sapcon visit the campus for the process of campus placements. Average ctc is 4 to 6 lakhs per anum. On an average 60% students get hired.

yes, the college provides placements and the students appearing in the third semester are all eligible for campus placements and can sit into them. The companies who use to visit the college for placements are airtel, icici, Sriram, sapcon, acro paints, etc and hire 60% of students with an average package of 5 to 7 LPA
