IIT(ISM) Review

Likes

The way seniors help juniors in their career and studies.
Hundred years of culture in this college
Central Library is one of the best place in this campus

Dislikes

Hostel food is not good enough for the students
Placements are less compared to other 1-tier colleges
Some internships due to their period of time are not allowed in this college

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semisters are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Google, Microsoft, etc visit our college every year and hire a decent number of students. Highets package is around 5600000 and average package is around 1800000.

There is very healthy atmosphere in our college
There are clubs to get entartainment and for stress relief
There is no pollution in our college there are many no.of students

Dislikes

Some days the food is horrible and we cant eat
There is no kabaddi court in our campus .
Xerox shops are not available in morning for use

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course mining engineering is an interesting course to persue and it contains highly experienced professors. Exams are upto their standards and it is easy to pass if we study with a perfect planning and process

Truths Under IIT

Likes

Maintanance of campus as there is pollution outside
Bonding between junior and senior and commutiny stuffs
it is approximately hundred years old which is built by british

Dislikes

high strength of Computer science students
can be improveed in campus placemnets and interns
campus wifi as it is fluctuating sometimes

Placement Experience:

the palcements are quite good and decent .i do have a plans for preparing upsc if i could not get any job in campus placement .but i am quite confident about my coding skills and dsa .i also appear in contest and hackathons

Likes

The library of the campus and the availability of books
The hygienic campus and it is greenery is good
Faculty are qualified and sports facilities are good

There are many dogs in the campus and they even come to hostel rooms

Bachelor of technology in Electrical Engineering I choose it because of the JOSAA councelling Faculty student ratio is ok Qualified staf and good technology Term exams are twice a week and hard to pass

Mis messes of college

Likes

Very big library, gardening is good and there greenery every where.
Awesome fest like srijan, concetto , prakaram are held
Various club are there for students to learn and grow

Dislikes

Student ratio is not so good, girls are given extra edge
Attendance criteria is bit strict , which involvement in other activities
No extra credit are given in grades for presenting college in some events

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I was interesting in circuit branch so I choosed it. Student ratio (male/female) = 4.56:1 Faculties are highly qualified and they have long teaching experience. Exams are bit tough, related grading.

The best part about our college is fests
Grounds are nice hostels are nice weather is nice
Faculty of our college is awesome and pretty good

Dislikes

Campus is really small and it is too hot in summer
Internal bus facility is not there too much distance to walk
Washing machines are not there dhobi prices are too high

I chose mathematics and Computing because it is a new course and it has many benefits The faculty is amazing and the student ratio is about 1:4 there are about 20 percent girls There will be mid-sem and end-sem exams

The actual academic buildings and labs were well maintained
The oval garden in front of heritage is beautiful all year
The senior junior relationship in the college is very interactive

The senior junior relationship in the college
Regional gang wars among the students of the college
Constant state of tension between Mtech and Btech students

Placement Experience:

The 4-year programme students are elegible for placements in their 7th semester. The number of companies visited and number of offers made The exact number is unknown to me. The higheset package offered is around 51LPA. My plans after getting a degree is to find a suitable job.

Likes

I like library which has more books and free wifi
College Infrastructure is most liked because of its large place and cleanliness
I like compus life because of making more friends

Dislikes

I dislike the mess food which has no salt and spice.
I dislike early morning classes of 8 am lectures.
I dislike semester schedule because it is of only 4 months.
