IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I choose this course since this course having highest package benefits and internship opportunities are better.I learnt computing in the Year 2 and now I can understand every coding easy due to the coding learnt from my college.

Placements are good. And it depends on person efforts and interest. Placements team is organized by SCPT of our college. There should min cg required for students to sit in interviews for some company's and obviously placements are good as expected from IITs

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The multinational companies like google, Microsoft and big trading firms like Goldman Sachs etc.. Visit campus and hire many students. Highest package was of 1cr and average packages offered for my branch were like between 20-30 lakhs. Almost all students get placements. I want to take placement and continue for some years then according I'll plan.

Our college placements are very excellent. And all software, core all companies come in campus placements. The average placement of college is of 17.5 lakhs per year which is very impressive. All to recruiters of every field come in college.

This year there was a downfall in the placement percentage of almost all colleges. Generally the mechanical placement goes around 85% . The petroleum is the best branch with 100% placement. Also other branches has descend placement %. The highest package offered in 2023 was around 80 lakhs( on campus).

Btech course is very nice course for engineering and in IIT it makes more popular and powerful than any other course. Btech in any field provide large knowledge about that area in theoretical way and in practical ways. Course have two main semester exam in a year. Level of difficulty is normal and it makes more easier for any IITian because they already have experience of that type of difficulty.

There are courses like linear algebra probablity and statistics and it's inference which are all relevant in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence which is my domain of interest. So I am very satisfied with the branch.

Placements are good and decent in our college. Students can participate in placement process from 7th semester. Major companies like Amazon, Microsoft, atlatian and even core companies like Jaguar land rover get participate in our placement process. Our college got a highest of 50 lakh and average of 20 lakh packages

I chose this course for its placement statistics. One course has almost 150 students taken by one faculty. The faculty have esteemed cv with many publications and most of them are doctorates. The term exams were very application based and without a grasp of concepts it would be difficult to pass as per general iit standards.

The placements of our college is very very good good excellent and fabulous. the internships and preplacement offers are also really good.every branch student is placed well irrespective of their branches.
