IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

the campus placements is ok but not bad .the median packages are good. There is nearly 100+ companies visited and offered students. students got placed in Google ,Microsoft ,Accenture ,Flipkart in on campus placements.

After 5th semester student is eligible to get campus placements .Companies like Microsoft ,filpkart ,phonepe ,barclays ,BNY Mellon, in software side approach to our college .For CSE the highest package is 56 lakh last year and average of 25 lakh.We get arount 1100 job offers every year. Placement percentage is different for different branches for CSE it is 93.13%.MY plans are to get placed in good job within our country.

I choose computer science and engineering. The teacher-to-student ratio is quite good. Exams are easy when we read but hard sometimes due to the difficulty and subject and the questions set by the teacher.

I like the electrical course. It seems very interesting to me And the job opportunities are also good. Faculty in our college are well educated and well-practiced teaching. They teach concepts very clearly and patiently. We have two exams per semester named mid-semester exams and end-semester exams.

I chose the course because of its high placement . CSE placements are one of the highest among all the branches . Professors are highly qualified . And the teaching content align with my interest . Due to large number of students , the faculty to student ratio is very low . Exams are conducted two times in a sem apart from quizzes.

The course structure of Electronics and communication engineering here is very fine. There are a set number of labs each semester for practically understanding the concepts that are taught in the lectures. Plus we are oftenlly given assignments and projects that adds to the quality of the course.

It had both math and computing. Student faculty ration is nice only 60 students teachers are very great and take care of students . Exams are some difficult. Teacher are qualified and nice. College is very good

I chose this course because i was interested in the civil engineering and the number of students in our class is 55 and faculty here is aslo very good and all are highly qualified and the exam are bit hard but moderate its doable.

The 1st and 2nd sem was common for all branches giving an opportunity for branch change for all branch students.the adminstration idea to give 2nd chance for students is better.the faculty is fine but all are not so interactive

I have choosen my course that is electricial engineering according to my rank in jee advance.there will be one teaching head and two to three ta's for every subject .they are well qualified teachers who teach us.for one month once the exams will be conducted.
