IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Course curriculum is very organised. Keeping in mind that it is a IIT ,it has quite tough curriculum..but regular study can fetch good marks.teachers put their efforts.but one the biggest blunder it the unorganised schedule at the time of exam

From third year students are eligible for placements.They get internships in third year and get placement offer in final year.Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe and so many companies visit IIT ISM.Placement percentage is 75%.

Yeah alot of placement are occuring now. Our seniors got placement in Goldman Sachs and google and flipkart and Amazon what not neary three hundred companies are offering jobs here. After my gradation I will be doing as a software engineer I hope I will get atleat 20 lakhs of package

I don't know much about the placements as I am a 1st year student,but I heard about the placements of my 4th year seniors which were placed in Google , Flipkart, Amazon ,tatasteel. The avg package of my college IIT dhanbad 20 LPA

Based on the placements we can choose. It will prepares us very well for practical world. Like in the reading materials. Based on the number of students the exam timings will be different and it would be mainly from 8am to 11 am.

As the campus is famous for the mining engineering the placement offers are relatively higher for this course than remaining. The professor and the seniors are readly helpful for our carrier guidance and the academic wise also. The course would improve by developing the field knowledge and the teachers would use digital boards for easy understanding to the students. The frequency and timings of the exams are sufficient to improve the knowledge. And it is difficult for an ordinary student to cope up.

Most of the students graduating from here go with a satisfactory ctc.But I think core branches have more opportunities in placement compare to other colleges.students will be eligible for placements from 6th semester.More than 80% of the students are annually placed.As of the 2024 placement session,the highest package is 56 lpa and the average package is 16.8 lpa.

from 6 semister the people are eligible for jobs placements no of companies visited are approx 150 and around 600 offers wre made .the highest package is 51lakhs and average package was 17lakhs .the percentage of students placed was 75% .my plans was to get a good company

The placements of our collage are very good,but when compared to other iits it is less.the highest package offered for civil engineering in this institute is 52 lakhs in a japanese company.the percentage is 75percent.number of companies visited are around 300-400.for 7th sem the students will be eligible for placements.

I am quite interested in the field of electricals and as my desire I got the seat in my dream course but I felt sad that I didn't get seat in top college than this.our course professor are well trained their way of teaching is marvelous.
