IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements are better than those most of private engineering colleges. The placement process starts in the month of December. There are also internship programs arranged by the campus for the students. Many students also go into research Internships or for higher studies.

I am always eager to learn about new technologies and that's why I have chosen the computer science and engineering course. The student radio in my college is very very bad :( Qualification of the faculty is good but is not that much interesting as I thought before taking admission into the IIT.

Students get internships in 3rd year out of which many get PPO. Students in 4th year get placements opportunities with amazing companies coming in a campus like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Sprinklr, Aditya Birla, Tata, ONGC, Cairn India etc The highest international package is 90 lac and the domestic is 51 lac. The average package is 14 lac Almost 90% of students get placed

Some of the faculties are pretty good. All faculties are very well qualified but some of them don't have a good teaching style. In one semester two quizzes, one mid-sem, and an end-semester exam are taken.

The campus Placements are quite good many tech giants visit the college, they offer good money, 1cr was the highest package in the previous year, there are many domains for which companies come, and students can apply to the company of their choice

The college is known for its strong track record of placements will stop the placement process usually begins in the final semester of the program and students become eligible for campus placements from the final semester. Companies from various sectors like IT, consulting, finance, e-commerce manufacturing, and oil and gas visit the campus for recruitment. Campus placement really improves every year. CDC, the career development centre SCPT, students coordinator placement team of our college plays a major role. The average package ranges from 17-19 Lakh while the median salary ranges from 15-16 Lakh. CSE, ECE, EE, M&C and Petroleum Engineering have incredible placement. Most of the students prefer to go for jobs and very less go for UPSC, GATE, MBA etc.

from the sixth semester onwards you are eligible for on-campus placements and you are eligible for off-campus placement after the forth semester onwards. every major company visits here i.e. Amazon, Google, Samsung, Flipkart, Zepto, l&T, Jio, Phonepe, Paytm, etc. around 70-80 % of students got placement and some students don't sit in placements as they are preparing for the GATE exam. i will sit in placement and also give GATE exams.

Campus Placement and internship opportunities are quite good in college. average package around 18-19 lakh. the highest domestic package is about 45 lakhs and the highest international is about 90 lakhs. Around 90 percent of students get placed on campus.
