IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Although overall it's a great experience studying in IIT Dhanbad, yet the infrastructure is far lacking in comparison to other IIT's which is a big concern. Our campus area is 1/10th of the campus covered by any other IIT colleges. This is the only negative remark about our college.

The college management was quite helpful in the entire journey of my student life.

College is very stricts about academics. Students should be very serious and positive. Here, if a student is interested in field other than academics then for such students college provides various facilities. But there are some rules which impacts negatively.

Good life at college because of extracurricular activities. Students are involved in different clubs and social activities so they can enjoy their life. Sports facilities are there to boost their fitness and NGOs are there to work and ne happy.

This college is one of the best colleges in India for engineering. The environment here helps any student for his overall development not only in the field of academics but also in sports, extracurricular activities etc.

We expect much in the field of placement. Some big companies are still to visit our college for recruitment. The package is also not that much higher as compared to other iits. The college lags in the field of research area.

College Management is very good. They helped us in all the ways even after being passed out.They organized the convocation and helped all the students in recieving degree in person or in absentee.in case of absentee,they posted degree to home.

Good people, teachers and students. Lack of research facilities and research work is minimal. The faculty to Student ratio is very poor. Less attention is given to common Student problems and teaching should be improved

Positive review can be that the college campus placement results are awesome. Ratio is about to eighty seven percent. There is lot of scope in future for every branch in college. Negative review is city is not that good to visit.

Oyr College have bad faculties that is the only bad part of this College and we don't get full time access to lan internet only in evening from 6pm to 2:30am. And we don't have full time freedom to out campus our hostel intime is mac at 12:00 midnight. It should not have any boundations.
