I like the teachers like dr.sheena she is one of the best teacher here .
Placements and internship opportunities are good. research support is also very strong. bangalore is nearby hence a lot of companies visit for campus placements
Fees are somewhat high but a lot of scholarship opportunities are there for students, especially college fee is free for those whose annual income is less than one lakh and third for those less than five lakhs

Dislikes

There was a lack of transparency while choosing college hostel.
Hostel food is not good, actually veg mess food is not good at all
There are not lot of thing which i dislike its just two which i mentioned above.

Life is amazing at NITK

Placement Experience:

Placement record is overall wonderful here. Average package of CSE/IT students is around 25LPA and for all branches is 13 LPA. Highest package was 57 LPA offered by Microsoft. Around 450 companies visit for campus placements and 700 offers were made.

Nitk beach and library private beach is there
Campus is green bus service is available clubs specially technical club
Library timing is 9 am to 1pm and many guest speakers is also invited

Dislikes

Mess food and hot weather through out the year
Market is far away from the campus you have to travel 30km
Professor teaching style and attendance criteria of 75 percentage

Placement Experience:

Amazon,jio wallmart, Paytm, Flipkart, HDFC. From 5 semesters students are eligible for placement. The highest package is 55lakh on campus. but off campus is 1.2 crore. from it branch all eligible students get placed. My plan is to get a job in a reputed company.

NITK - The Beach-side College

Likes

The placement opportunities and the campus.
The friendly nature of the students and seniors
The sports facilities here are great and competitions are held.

Dislikes

Some faculty members were not good at teaching
The mess food is not that good in all the mess.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at NITK are great and more than 80% of students from different branches get placed every year. Students get placements in the third year. The highest package for the year 2022 was 45LPA and the average package was 13.12 Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Oracle, Uber are some of the well-known companies that visited the campus this year.

NITK - More than a college.

Likes

Well established infrastructure with well equipped laboratories.
Own beach for students refreshment and cool climate.
Big playground to play cricket and football.

Dislikes

Running to classes in rainy days and drowned in rain.

Placement Experience:

From the final year, students are eligible for campus placement. Top-notch companies in engineering and IT fields come to campus for student intake. The highest salary offered till now is CTC 24 lakhs per annum. Nearly 90% of students get placed every year.

Excellent College with Good Placement and Campus Life

Likes

Campus life is one of the best in this college and it has a nice weather.
I liked Infrastructure of this college. It has a central e library which is good for studying in ac. and also every building has good architecture.
Placements are very good with good average and many opportunities available.

Dislikes

I disliked the weather of the campus of this college. During summers, the heat is unbearable but winters are good.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start in the 7th semester and internships are in the 5th semester. Companies from all over India as well as foreign companies visit the campus. The highest package is around 58 LPA and the average package overall is 15 LPA whereas EEE has an average of 19 LPA. Around 95 percent are placed. My plan is to get placed in good company.

The campus greenary is so good and campus is neet and clean
Our placement scenario is so amazing top level companies visit in our campus
NIRF of NiTk is 10 and we have a private beach so overall campus life is so good

Dislikes

Locality of college is not good the market is 3km gar our college

Placement Experience:

After the 2 nd year college provides an internship season. 4th year starting many companies come to the college and select students on interview bases. College highest package is 42 lakhs and the average package is 12 lakhs for each branch the placed students percentage is different

Google, Amazon, and Texas Instruments to name a few are the companies that visit our campus. NITK has always topped placement drives with most of its students being recruited. The highest package offered was 52 LPA. The average package is 11 LPA.

NITK - a college next to IIT

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is very good here, students from the 7th sem onward became prepared for their placements, and students from the 5th sem became prepared for the internship. Our college provides both on-campus placements and internships. Approximately more than 80 companies visit for internships and more than 150 companies visit for placements. The highest package goes around 50 to 60 lakhs each year while the lowest one is around 7 to 8 lakhs. The percentage selection in CS and IT is above 90% while in ECE it is more than 85% and in another non-circuital branch more than 70%. Most of them get placements so they go for their jobs while others pursue a higher degree like M.tech and Ph.D. we are also provided in the same college.

The placement of our college is good. Placement percentage is depending upon branch. From 7th semester students have eligible for campus placement. Many companies are coming for college placements. Average package as per company is 7lakh.

NIT Surathkal is one of the premium engineering colleges in India. It has an amazing faculty pool with top-notch infrastructure. Many big companies visit the campus for placements. The campus is huge with all basic amenities like hostels, health care centers, sports facilities, etc. Students are provided with 24/7 internet facility and also basic facilities like water and electricity.

The campus life is very dynamic with many technical and cultural events taking place on campus. Your peers are mainly people who couldn't make it to IITs but are very talented. Moreover, you get to experience the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea.

NIT Surathkal organizes one of the best Cultural Fest Incidents every year. Additionally, many startups have been founded and co-founded by NITKians which has improved the startup culture to a great extent. Ultimately, college is more about what you learn and experience!
