I like the teachers like dr.sheena she is one of the best teacher here .
Placements and internship opportunities are good. research support is also very strong. bangalore is nearby hence a lot of companies visit for campus placements
Fees are somewhat high but a lot of scholarship opportunities are there for students, especially college fee is free for those whose annual income is less than one lakh and third for those less than five lakhs

Dislikes

There was a lack of transparency while choosing college hostel.
Hostel food is not good, actually veg mess food is not good at all
There are not lot of thing which i dislike its just two which i mentioned above.

Review of college

Likes

I liked the placements as ell as culture in college
The competitions organised by the clubs in NITK
Seniors are very hepfull as well as supportive

Dislikes

There are sme places having large amount of treees like a jungle
there are snakes in campus which you can find in the hostels also
The events are not so big as per crowd is there

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Almost all the big MNCs visit campus for campus placements. Google, Microsoft, adobe, and Deshaw are the prominent companies. The highest placement is about 54 Lakhs in the year 2022.

Sports, campus location, beach ,clubs and annual fest
Annual fest was something I never saw at such a big scale
Faculty are of supportive type , they will be of great help .

Dislikes

Hostel washrooms can be improved , and fans also.
Street lights at some places are off , hope they keep track of it
Ventilations in classrooms can be improved in some buildings

Placement Experience:

Around the 7th semester, placement season starts with tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, de shaw, Goldman Sachs, etc. coming around the first week. The highest package usually goes around 55 lpa(data science and SDE) while the lowest is around 4-5 LPA. Around 85% of students get placed. I plan to mostly work for a while.

A Honest review of my beautiful collage

Likes

I liked the events of the collage fests.
Also the club events and the coding culture of collage is very good.
I liked the Placements records of the collage and the oppurtunities the collage provides.

Dislikes

The fear of snakes terrifies me a lot as they are found frequently.
The drainage facilities of the hostels is also not up to mark.
The Religious festival are not celebrated much here.

Placement Experience:

Student Become eligible for placements in 7 semesters. Companies like JIO, AMAZON, Goldman sacks, and Microsoft Desow. It has a record of 100% placements. My plan is to get a job after my degree. The highest placements this year are 2 cr.

Likes

I like the coding culture in NITK campus .
I also liked the activities conducted by the clubs in NITK
The support of seniors in the skills development

Dislikes

Most of the part of the campus is like a jungle ,So many trees .
There are so many snakes in campus which can visit you at any time
College fests in NITK are not so big for all students

I like the teachers like Dr.sheena she is one of the best teacher here .
Food here is so good , it's too good I mean quality is good taste is ok.

Dislikes

Couples everywhere even in library so it's not good.

So the average package is about 22-23 lacks and the highest package is 2.13 crore bagged by an IT student off-campus. Many big companies like Google Qualcomm and Microsoft come here for placement. Placement season is quite rushable here.

NITK pros and cons

Likes

Liked the atmosphere and private beach of the college
Curriculum is so well maintained and updated.
Campus placement ratio is awesome. Literally came here for placements

Dislikes

There are some unhygienic and dirty areas in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because I like to learn about electrics and am very much interested in learning it. Faculty to student ratio is good enough. Most of the faculties hold Ph.D. and many teachers are indulged in research and their teaching method is just awesome except for a few. Exams are almost monthly because you have to give quizzes for each subject.

NITK- Where Life is a Fairy Tale

The Curriculum Is So Maintained And Updated. It Helps The Students To Get In The Race With The New Technologies.
Liked The Atmosphere Of The College. A Private Beach Is Present To Just Get Relaxed.
The Campus Placements Are Ossum. I Literally Came Here For Placements.

Placement Experience:

At the start of the 7th semester. You can apply for the placements. Many prestigious companies like Adobe, Infosys, Microsoft, and Texas come to the college and offer a huge number. Microsoft gives the package of around 60 LPA wand Texas gives about 50 LPA and many more. The highest was 57 LPA. In IT Branch, 99.8% of placement. In CSE Branch, 98%, In ECE, 95%, IN EEE, 93%. I am in EEE Branch, I am preparing for the gate hopefully if I got selected at the gate I would go for it.

The libraries of NITK and the private beach of NITK

There is need of some more cleanliness in the campus
there is less of lighting in the campus during night

The placements of all the branches of NITK are actually very good. The placements season starts in the month of August. The students are eligible to take part in an on-campus recruitment drive from the 7th sem. For B.Tech. all the courses around 92% of students got placed this year. The highest package was 54 LPA and the average package was 12 LPA.

NITK: THE BEAUTY

I liked the atmosphere of the college. A private beach is present to just get relaxed.
The curriculum is so maintained and updated. It helps the students to get in the race with the new technologies

Great college

Likes

I like the gym of the college almost every equipment is there.
I like the beach of the college and i visit there often
I like the wooden court of badminton.Its quite good..

Dislikes

The mess food is just worse and i dont like that all.
The morning classes at eight are not good at all,so i usually skip them.
The 75 percent attendance policy should be removed.

Almost all the major companies visit the campus like Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs etc. The highest on-campus placement was 54 lpa.In cse, there is 100% placement but it is around 87% in lower branches.

NIT Surathkal is one of the premium engineering colleges in India. It has an amazing faculty pool with top-notch infrastructure. Many big companies visit the campus for placements. The campus is huge with all basic amenities like hostels, health care centers, sports facilities, etc. Students are provided with 24/7 internet facility and also basic facilities like water and electricity.

The campus life is very dynamic with many technical and cultural events taking place on campus. Your peers are mainly people who couldn't make it to IITs but are very talented. Moreover, you get to experience the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea.

NIT Surathkal organizes one of the best Cultural Fest Incidents every year. Additionally, many startups have been founded and co-founded by NITKians which has improved the startup culture to a great extent. Ultimately, college is more about what you learn and experience!
