VNIT Nagpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The first reason that I chose this college is that it has a NIT status and comes under the central government. It also is in my hometown only so I had that advantage also. The placements of the course are really good.

As it is a National Institute, it is a dream for everyone to be a part of it. So I choose it for learning new things and for placements. My branch was Mining Engineering. The thing that I liked was the campus environment, fests and studies.

The students are eligible for campus placement in 7th semester and for internships in the 5th semester. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Dassault systems and others visit the institute. The highest package is in the computer science branch with close to 32 LPA and average institute package is about 7 LPA. About 80 percent students are placed.

very good, college is govt, so there is no management

It was one of the top NIT and was ranked 11th in all India as per NIRF ranking. After IIT Bombay it is the 2nd best college of Maharashtra. In terms of placement too it's good and for the CS people minimum package was 7 Lac per annum. For placements all the dream company comes like Morgan Stanley, Jp Morgan, Amazon, Microsoft etc.

Overall among one of the best engineering colleges. But can also improve over some of its facilities which are provided to students.

So far so good,no remarks about college but infrastructure can be improved.

The management of college is fine. They are very quick in terms of response to any situation.

Don't consider students demand until we come on road and make them hear us. Management style is very old and they are not ready to change. Always have to enter details in register at various places in campus which no one reads but they are regid and they don't want to change until we take a step like strike.

College management is doing well and I hope that they will continue to grow like this.
