College of National importance. NIT name is just enough and placements are great. Don't have anything else to say here. 2nd best college in Maharashtra after IIT Bombay and college collaboration with industry is great.

As it is a National level college and ease of being home institute. The education policy and management within campus are one of the best. Big campus to spend some time and enjoy with friends. Health and sports facilities are boost to the academics.

The location (my hometown) and the availability of seats in CSE at other colleges based on my score were the major factors involved in this decision. Additionally, I had heard good reviews from people who had studied here.

It is ranked 31 in NIRF and good placements. A top NIT ranked 6th among all the NITs. Many of the seniors also advised me to join here. The placement stats were very good and regarding hostel and academics there is no problem

I got it in JoSSA, I cleared JEE advanced too and was eligible for IIT too, I waited till 3rd round of JoSSA counselling, people adviced me to lock VNIT as It is far better than the latest newly established IITs, henced I locked my option in third round itself.

NIT status, Old college, environment, I preferred civil engineering branch and VNIT offer best professors in this branch blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah that's enough

I chose this college because it is situated in the city where I reside. I applied for all the branches but I only got an offer from metallurgical engineering in VNIT, so I had no option apart from enrolling into it.

Cause it is a National Institute of Technology, that too in my hometown. It's ranking is great. VNIT is one of the reputed institutes in India. College campus is too beautiful. It is also close to my residence.
