VNIT Nagpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 3rd year students can apply for internship and from 4th year they can apply for placements, so many companies come in college like tcs ,infosys,itc etc.70%studentget placed as 25% students have less cgpa or failed in exams. Highest package is 43LPA average package is 13 LPA and median package is 9 LPA.

From the end of 3 year i.e 6th semester students are eligible for placements. Many well known companies visit our campus. Like Google, L n T, Infosys, Tata all branches, bosch, boeing etc The average package last year was around 12-13lpa With maximum being 67lpa Around 80%+ are placed Evey year. With my branch mechanical having highest percentage last year it was around 95%.

For campus placement students are eligible from 7th semester and the criteria is min of 7.5 CGPA. There are more than 100 of companies visiting college for placement such as RELIANCE , INDIAN OIL , BAJAJ , JP MORGAN, QUALCOMM, TATA , MAHINDRA , GODREJ , AMAZON , ETC. over on an average 175-180 companies visit and offers around 600-650 packages including all branches. Highest Package for CSE , ECE is 64 lpa and CHEM , EE , META , MECH is around 31 lpa and MIN and CIV is around 15 lpa and average packages are 16.80 , 12.44 , 10.51 , 11.54 , 8.43 , 10.15 respectively . About 75 % students are placed who apply for in campus placement . I'll try for out campus or further pursue for competitive exams .

The placement is not the strongest point about vnit. I am not saying they are bad. The average package is 10lpa for mining with a 80%placement rate. But if you are capable of coming to this college than you can achieve much more by going into other fields. You can pursue them by joing clubs and. Meeting people. Having the same. Interest as yours.

From the 5th semester the students start getting internship opportunities for Summer, most companies that provide internship also provide them with a pre placement offer. From the 7th semester the placement opportunities will start, right now i.e., as on Jan 10th 60% of ECE is placed. The highest package offered is 34lpa and the minimum is 5lpa. By end of this semester it is expected that 80% would be placed. I will continue with a job after my degree.

Students become eligible for placement in the 9th semester. There are some international companies and some local companies who come to give placement. The average package is 12lac per annum. In architecture very few students get placed.

The students became eligible for placements from their 7th semester, and around 100 company visit college every year and around all the students get offer letter that sits in placements, and the highest package offered was 20 lakhs in bpcl and lowest 9 lakhs The percentage of students placed are around 79percent. And my plans after completing degree is to pursue masters in management from United Kingdom.

In the 5th semester you are eligible for internships. Over 100 students were offered both core and non core internships. They later on got ppo offers. Placement stats is relatively good till now over 400 students have been placed with over 100 companies been visited.

Before the Covid attack there was 100% placement rate in VNIT. But after that quite a few things have changed but overall we have got a good placement rate. Mid to top tier companies arrive for placements and internship.
