- It is a no ragging campus. It is a place where we can do social interactions and create our groups or community to reach out to many people. Making friends is also easy here..(but be careful of the high class genzs). You can grow your connections
- Placement scenario is also decent here as companies tend to visit the campus and bulk hiring is done. It is an epicentre for sports activities and physical fitness. Many events are also organized to keep the students mind fresh.
Dislikes
- The food of the hostels depend upon the hostel..So it is a luck factor that how good the hostel you get
Placement Experience:
Companies for internships come from the 4th semester onwards. The main hiring and the bulk of companies visiting the campus are from the 7th semester. This is the placement season. Placement percentage is 98%. Last year 160+ companies visited and the highest package offered was 62lpa.
The main hiring is from service-based companies and the average package varies but to a layman's level, it would be 7 to 8 LPA. Give the GATE exam after the BTech course as it gives numerous opportunities is different industry groups.

- Faculty is very good if you are present in class and taking active interest in learning
- Social events, fests, competitions, international exchange programs are too good. Good for campus life.
- Many on campus facilities and infrastructure including gym, swimming pool, recreation center, stadium is available.
Dislikes
- Mess food is not upto the mark sometimes.
- Wardens barely cooperate with requests and you'll get priority if youre an oriya
- Extremely high fees structure of course.
Placement Experience:
students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem.
Companies like TCS, ACCENTURE, WIPRO, PWC, DELOITTE, MICROSOFT, ADOBE come for placement.
70% students are placed
Highest package can go upto 50lpa and average is 6lpa

- Overcrowded Facilities: Long lines or crowded spaces in dining halls, libraries, or recreational facilities.Poor Maintenance: Issues with cleanliness, outdated facilities, or equipment that doesn't work properly.
- Bureaucratic Processes: Complicated or slow administrative procedures for things like registration or financial aid.Lack of Diversity and Inclusion: Feelings of exclusion or insufficient support for diverse groups on campus.
- High cost of living. You need to spend a lot in just your day to day life . Also food facilities was not too good. You need to struggle a lot for fooding
Placement Experience:
From the last two semesters the companies will start coming to your campus for the campus drive.
There were big companies that came to college like EY and Axis Bank and many more.
The demand for the minimum percentage or cgpa is usually 60% or 6 cgpa required
There shouldn't be any back students
The process of recruitment was also explained in detail so as to run the process smoothly

- The area the college is in, along with the infrastructure of the college. .
- The facilities in the hostel are also great
- The professors are very friendly and readily help. The notes and study materials given are great
Dislikes
- The mess food is little too spicy, at times too bland. It has a scope of improvement.
Placement Experience:
Students from our college have beeb placed in various national and international companies and renowned law firms. Campus Recruitment is actually really great. The college has its own placement and training cell which has been training and helping students to get placed in various internships and jobs.

- A diversity of students with different perspectives about academics and life. This helps you become a versatile personality and accept differences of opinion while working together in a team.
- The college is full of luxury and great infrastructure, which constantly motovates you to work hard to sustain and improve same lifestyle with your own earnings and not have to be financially dependent on parents.
- The college lies in the city area, so it is not difficult to spot hangout places or spend much in travelling.
Dislikes
- Finding similar minded people who look forward to hustel as much as you in life is difficult, so you need to remain motivated on your own.
- Descent faculties in terms of teaching, and it'd be helpful if you constantly remain in touch with them.
Placement Experience:
The campus placement is decent but since the number of students enrolled in a course is relatively high, one really need to work hard if they aim at getting placed at a really good package. It is necessary to keep in head that since competition is high due to huge population of students, you need to consistently give your best and do extra courses side by side.

- The attitude of most of the teachers is very helpful and are ready to help if you lag behind
- The infrastructure is fantastic with great libraries and labs
- The campus life and sports and co curriculum opportunities

- The course fee which is quite high and requires loan to fulfill
- The huge number of students make the college very densely populated and creates a very high competition during placements
Placement Experience:
The students are eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. 100s of companies visit KIIT every year which includes famous companies like Intel , Microsoft , Tcs , JP Morgan , Wipro , Infosys , Tech Mahindra , Maruti Suzuki. The placement offers go as high as 72 LPA and the average is around 100000 LPA . In 2023 97% Students were placed

- The overall green campus looks beautiful.
- Friendly staffs, teachers and faculties motivates us to learn.
Dislikes
- Few strict teachers who at times don't even reward you marks even when you deserve it.
- Girl's in-time is the most irritating thing about college life for girls.
Placement Experience:
The placements in our college as they display to be "100%" is ofc not the case as nobody is perfect like we know so I would be giving the rough estimate and what I feel is 85% or so. The main problem is even if you are just getting your internship and not being placed then also they count you to the "placed" category. Many companies like LTMindtree, Adobe, Google, Phillip's, TCS, PandoAI etc visits for offering placements. Highest and lowest package totally depends, there's no fixed LPA.

- The facilities like the game facilities as KIIT has my open stadiums and also indoor stadium for variety of games.
- The clubs and societies KIIT has are a great source of improvements for the social skills and also in networking with other people and improvises the communication skill and talent of the student
- The internships and most importantly the placements it provides are great
Dislikes
- I personally feel the fees they charge for B. Tech degree is bit more pricey and i don’t feel that an under graduate student should pay this much amount for a degree.
- I know every student doesn't push himself/herself that much to get a good placement but still there are many who hard and still not getting the placement they truly deserve

Placement Experience:
The placement status at KIIT is not that great but it's good as there are many students facing difficulty in placement in 2023-24 ( but it was very high in the year 2021-22). Nearly 50%-70% students get placed each year though it was below 50% for the year 2023. And if the student doesn't get placed anywhere, he/she can pursue for their masters, KIIT also provides master degrees. The highest package for a B. Tech student is 52LPA and the average is 6LPA and the lowest being 3LPA. Few students get their campus placement by the end of their 3rd year only.

- the fact that we get to choose teachers for each subject ourselves.The teachig facuties are all very well experienced
- the rich nfrastructure of the college.They have lots of olaygrounds ,parks,food courts,gardens and all and libraries for each department along with a central library.
- the hostels are quite good.keeping in mind that food are abit average but for accomodation one can opt for an ac room which is very much needed for a place like bbsr where tempereature in summer usually cross 40

- Due to large number of studets everywhere it felt crowded.
- the college focuses more on academics rather than improving students skills and all.
- the mess food are average for the price they take for the hostel.

afer 6th semester students start getting offers some students do gert internship ffers in 6th sem,this year not very large number of companies visited but delliote took a large number of students, pwc, kpit, kpmg, chubb ,hsbc, highradius are someof the companies i can remember as my friends have got job ffers here

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students.
