The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Pros and cons of chitkara University

Likes

There is lots of greenery in the campus area
There are lots of official company franchise outlets in college
All types sports courts and play ground is available

Dislikes

The infrastructure of college as there was flood last year
Mess food of hostsl is not of such a good quality

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seriously I chose this course because I want to be an engineer and here there are lots of resources available regarding libraries, labs with all instruments, projectors in class, and I think in college no one studies in a class all students do their own self-study by the notes, ppts and pdf provided by the teacher

I liked the staff and the culture of the University.the university organize fest in every three months where students can take parts in the activities and show cast their talents in different domains.
Also there is dj night after few days where students can enjoy and dance with friends
Also the infrastructure of college is also so good .

Dislikes

I dislike the minimum 75 percentage criteria of dtuden6
I dislike the hostel timing ,that is 9pm
I dislike if we have to go outside of college for outing than we have to approve the gate pass every time from parents

Placement Experience:

The placement at the college is very good and the company's started coming inthe colleges inthe 3rd year and stated giving offer and intership. Almost 100 percent student got placed during the placement the highest package Is around 40lpa and the average package is 8lpa

All about Chitkara University

Likes

Awesome Curriculum, very good choice of subjects by HOD
Very aesthetic and large campus, in which you can make many memories
Awesome food courts, sports facility and extra curricular

Dislikes

Teachers for 1st year students, some are good and some are very bad
Partiality between hostellers and day scholars
Very crowded because of thousands of students

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario here is pretty good, almost all of the students land on jobs. The average package is 5-6 lakhs. Students from 6th semester become eligible for placement, companies like Wipro, TCS etc visit here making 1,500+ offers. Highest package was 54 lakh and 70%+ students get placed.

Ou College Environment and Cleanness is very very best, there are a lot of things to explore.
There are many clubs where you can bacame their part and explore many more.
Good Placements and High class Education and Faculty.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food us not good they are not serving good food.
Too much restrictions are there for all .
The class timings are not right, it is from 4:30 Pm to 9:00pm

Placement Experience:

In thought of placemsnts our University is Good this time more than 80% students get placements in Big companies. Students are eligible from 6th Semestet for Placements. Wilro, Walmart, BajajFinserv and many more companirs arrive every year to our college.

Campus is beautiful and well maintained.
Placements are given importance and several opportunities are given.
Focuses on extracurricular activities too.

Dislikes

Industrial visits were not prioritised that much.
Files were given more importance but weren’t checked properly during finals.
Notice were not notified that much priorly.

Placement Experience:

Placements are given importance. There is a placement cell and it's team is very supportive. They keep us introducing to various opportunities. Various training sessions were also conducted. Communication enhancement sessions were also conducted.

Likes

Professors are very homely. The really guide you well.
Everyone is well encouraged and the professors are hardworking.

Dislikes

Square is a food court in Chitkara and it is quite expensive if you have to eat there daily. Like really expensive some days.
The area in which the college is situated is small. They should get a larger area.

Placement Experience:

Mostly every student is placed in Chitkara. 90% of the students are placed. If you are pursuing B.Tech, you will be eligible for the internship after the 3rd yr or maybe by the end of it most students get internships. A lot of companies visit such as NXP, Silicon Labs, etc.

Likes

Timely internships are provided eventhough not that high stipend but still a good opportunity is provided by the campus
Discipline is often maintained as the tight security is observed in every corner of university which helps to maintain decorum of campus

Dislikes

Overrated concept of placements not that much high packages that are claimed by the college
Dress code unlike other pharmacy colleges which provides a choice to the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The clinical knowledge provided by this course is excellent as there are not much opportunities in India after this course but still the scope is in a development phase and much growth might be observed in near future. I think semester exams would be more comfortable for the students than the annual exams

The Campus is decent enough and has many recreational activities

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
