- The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
- Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
- The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.
Dislikes
- No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
- Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
- 5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

- The batch size of each class is very big and the classes are not divided based on the scores achieved in the previous semester
- Teachers are not able to give proper attention to each and every student due to big batch size
- No assignment or homework are given by teachers inorder to foster learning
Placement Experience:
They placements are quite good in our collage with average of around 7-8 lakhs for B.E BATCH. The placement season starts as soon as you get to your 3rd year and last until you are placed. You get a choice whether to try for off- campus placement or on-campus. As usual of you apply for off- campus you would not be able to set in on-campus placement interview as they then remove your name. As of my knowledge the highest package of 2020 batch was 42 lakhs and thats quite good

- Campus size is small and it can be big according to students
- The message food is not very tasty and is limited sometimes
- There should be more grounds for different sports

Placements are really good in chitkara University most of the students get placed . Placements cell of chitkara University is really good and supportive in terms of placement . They bring in more then 100 company easily and with an average package of 8 lkh which is preety descent

- The faculty of chitkara design school is really supportive and for every module we get different experienced designers
- There are various clubs in chitkara for dance music art sports
- We have 3 cafeterias square 1 square 2 and circle 1 to hangout and eat
Dislikes
- Even the dayscholars need gatepass stamped by Dean to get out of the college for some time
- Dayscholars don't get to attend dj nights and events at all
- There are strict uniform rules. We can only wear black or blue basic jeans
Course Curriculum Overview:
Our design school offers an excellent curriculum which covers all the modules even if they are slightly less important , they cover it all in our semester. The open jury system also helps us interact with jury members in our batchmates jury time .

- Our college have best placements I heard in this area
- All needs are available in the college itself but some are costly
- Classes are made good and big also so that everyone can see the board
Dislikes
- Classes are in different blocks so we have to travel from one side to another after every class
- Some teachers are rude and bematlab ki khundak nikalte hai and deduct marks in evaluations
- They have made a business of taking papers again and asking for money
Placement Experience:
The placement rate of our college is good if we compare to another colleges but the student rate is very high in cse department so every student can't get placement but all companies visit our college and give package according to their potential

- University social life is quite good. Students get enough clubs and activities to explore their interests and enhance their skills.
- Commendable infrastructure. Proper classrooms has been designed with most of the facilities like charger plugs on each desk
- Rules and regulations are nicely followed. Decorum is maintained on priority basis.
Dislikes
- Some Faculties are not that interested to teach students
- 75% attendance criteria is followed.Students below it are detained
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible to take part in placement drive from 5th semester. In 2024 placement drive approx 100companies have visited in case domain with offering of 6lakhs as average package. The highest package till today in 2024 is 16lakhs approx and minimum is around 4lakhs

- I liked their sports culture very much that they have all game facilities likes swuad, poll you name and their is sports club in chitkara
- I like their classes as all have ac and all are fully furnished
- I like their variety of shops in the campus you name and their have all food framchisss
Dislikes
- Their are lot of student in same stream like in cse their are 2500 student
Placement Experience:
In B.Tech maximum get placed but only those students get good or high package who have skills that they make in 4 years. Companies like Microsoft, adobe, amazon, apple visit for recruitment. The highest package goes up to 60 lakhs and average package in 6 lakh, approx. 70-80% get places in various companies. My plans to get a good placement from the good company.

- Campus Life even the hostel stay is very much fabulous
- Infrastructure is very much awesome. Even infrastructure is based on the leanings .

- Hostel food needs improvement as the food quality is not good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum at chitkara University was very good. Like we can explore the foreign exchange program.
University exchange programmes were there. Learning and exploring completely included in the curriculum. I think module system should be changed with semester exams.

- I liked that teacher jave a great knowledge about subject and help in various departments to learn.they help you write research papers .also there are many hackathons that take place in our college.The sports loving students also have a great time he
Dislikes
- I disliked that library here is very small .whenever i go there i find difficult to get the seat to study.
- Also it is like a school where you have to wear college uniform.
Placement Experience:
In our college there is 100 percent placement of students in various companies .but if then also I don't get job so I will go for off-campus placement based on the skills that I have learnt in the college over the years

- chitkara university offers many different courses for bachelors,masters and doctoral degrees in areas like engineering business pharmacy and hosp
- The campus has up to date facilities with well equipped labs and modern classes with fully air contioned
- the faculty is good and they have lot of academic experience

- The enduction fees and hostel fees is high as compared to other institutions
- The university is far from cities like chandigarh and limited public transport options
- There is some time pressure from academic schedule demand which is challenging for students
Placement Experience:
The university have strong pracement records and they have various tie up with various big MNC's and many otheer big companies which provide various good placements opportunities.The average salary package for engineering graduates ranges from 6 to 8 lakhs per annum.

- The infrastructure doesn't include more spaces for social interaction.
- There is no specific room provided for students to sit and study in their free time, in case of construction.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is very effective and does prepare us for real world with the help of in depth study and activities that are included. The only thing that bothers me is the sessional tests. I think there should only be a mid term exam and finals instead of 3 sessional tests and then finals. This will give us more time to work on our projects.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.
- ACADEMICS
The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.
- PLACEMENTS
Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.
There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.
- FEES & ACCOMMODATION
Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.
- CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP
There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
