- The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
- Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
- The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.
Dislikes
- No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
- Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
- 5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

- there are very less things i dislike maybe food for hostels is okok.
- so much strictness for hostel students..
- some events are only for hostllers not for day scholars

after the second year. placements are offered to students.

the highest package for mca is from 20 to 22 lakh.
and a minimum of 4 to 5 lakhs,
a minimum of 75 percent to get placements.

- Fees is little expensive for a middle class
- Location is out of city and colony which is bad for day scholars
- Campus is not that much large for students
Placement Experience:
After 6-7 semesters students will be eligible for placements. Companies like Microsoft, Google, TCS, Wipro, Deloitte etc. visited the company. The highest package is 44 lpa and avg is 7 lpa and about 90% of students get placed.

- The curriculum here is impressive, covering relevant subjects at a suitable pace while providing practical knowledge to students. Workshops and clubs offer students a valuable opportunity to gain exposure to various fields.
- The college has a variety of sports and indoor games to keep students busy during their free time and also help them prepare for competitions. I really like this aspect.
- I enjoy the monthly DJ nights, fests, and other events that provide entertainment. The well-built infrastructure creates a pleasant environment for me to thrive in.
Dislikes
- The hostel faculty's excessive strictness and lack of cooperation create an unfavorable environment for me. It becomes challenging to navigate hostel life smoothly and comfortably when dealing with such rigid rules and a lack of support.
- Campus medical facilities are inadequate; the dispensary lacks necessary medicines. Obtaining a gate pass for nearby hospital is cumbersome and restrictive
- Management lacks communication, leaving us uninformed. We must visit multiple places for a single task, causing inconvenience.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements for CSE students start in the 6th semester of the 3rd year, with opportunities for internships leading to pre-placement offers (PPOs). Renowned companies like Infosys, IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, etc., visit the campus for recruitment. In the 2023 batch, nearly all students secured placements, leaving only around 30-40 students unplaced by the end of the 8th semester. Faculty members are dedicated to assisting these students in securing placements. Almost 100% of the students are successfully placed, except those opting for further studies. My goal after graduation is to secure a position in a reputed company and pursue a job in my chosen field.

- A little bit of mess food during some days in week
- Exams are a little bit more like 3sts per subject
- Crowd is little more in the college.....

Campus placement Is also good. from the 6th sem, companies come to the college for placement. There are many companies that come to the college for hire. The highest package is about 40lpa and the average is 12 lpa. Approx 90-95% of students get placed.

- College infrastructure is awesome. Its really beautiful to roam around.
- Classes are really big and lighted with projectors in each classroom.
- Number of sports that we can play is really good.
Dislikes
- The college is at a large distance which takes approximately 1 hour to reach.
- Sometimes due to travel related issues most of the time is wasted.
- Prices at canteens are a bit high and they keeps on increasing them.
Placement Experience:
The companies that visited the campus are Infosys, Microsoft, Google, airtel, Wipro, IBM, Accenture, Godrej, Tata Motors, and SAP. Most of the degree programs offer internships for real-world experience to students. The packages start from 4 LPA and go up to 40 LPA.

- Faculty was pretty good some of them deeply taught about research and future plans in studies
- The schedules seems to be productive a lot of times because of teaching style or maybe their exam schedule.
Dislikes
- Frequent examination ruins the rhythm and learning style.
- Ppt are good but live studies and interaction in coding is better option.
- Sometimes the schedule is very lazy and less productive making students tired.
Placement Experience:
6 semesters is mainly when direct internship offers start to be sent in e-mails. Chaayos, Microsoft, Cisco, bajaj, etc many companies come here including jp morgan and Goldman Sacks the internship rate is pretty high here. If you are a average or above-average person you would definitely get an offer for an internship. They teach a lot about employability and aptitude for clearing major rounds.

- Opportunities are many. They give us full exposure and its depend on us how we prevail those opportunities.
- Infrastructure is very good. I liked it. Courses are many in our campus in every field.
- Faculty is good. Always motivates and is helpful too.
Dislikes
- Fee is high. As the prices of foods are very high, even in stationary also.
- No fest is conducted for day scholars, Campus life is somewhat boring.
- we can not go outside the college as we always need a gatepass from the mentor.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course as there is a boom in this industry and my opportunities will be there in the future that's how I landed on this decision to choose this course. Well in my course there are four clusters (alpha, beta, gamma, and zeta), and each cluster has max 7 groups and each group has approx 75-80 students.
Faculty: The faculty is good... the teachers are very helpful, they provide full guidance, and help us to do research and project work. And they do motivate us too.
well, mostly industry trainers used to teach us not the faculty. Faculty use to keep the class record and any other problems or things related to the class.
Exams: every month there are exams(Fas and Sessional tests). The difficulty level is basically based on how well you are prepared.

- The guards of the college they treat us so badly even in hostels

As I joined this course the teachers were too good in the first year but as college started beginning the college teacher we found good were actually not that good They were doing masters in our college only. I chose this course as I was so interested to know the depth of computer engineering like how this will happen etc etc

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.
- ACADEMICS
The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.
- PLACEMENTS
Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.
There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.
- FEES & ACCOMMODATION
Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.
- CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP
There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
