The quality of teaching is really good and the proffessors are nice and helpful too..the curriculum is really nice and modern too
Well i'm from general category but i do have friends from different backgrounds, so i can assuredly say that there are all kinds of resources available, student loans, and fee remission is also there.
This college provide also great opportunity to go another college like iit and perform on bigger platform which helps in to increase their increase our confidence and provide a great placement opportunity and for bigger companies

Dislikes

Semister type payment of fees ,both course and hostel fees.no opportunity of scholarship for me because not good scholarship facility.i am very poor family background but they do not give scholarship ?
The admission process was all ok but what i didn't like was it took a long time for the verification of the documents.
Hostel facilities are very poor meal quality which is provided in mess is also very poor and utensils are very unhygienic.

Brief summary of MNIT

Likes

College Campus is spreaded in an appreciable land and is in the middle of the city.
Competitive Environment is there, as everyone is doing something and are consistent at it.
Professor are too good at what they are teaching.

Dislikes

Mess food of some hostels are not upto the mark.
Restriction on timings of sports complex.
The time table is a headache for day scholars.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good enough as many good companies visit the campus. But in year 2024 it was a rollercoaster ride as even IITs are facing troubles in placements. Last year the Chemical Engineering department had 100% placement with highest package of 40lpa.

Campus is very good positive vibes infrastructure is also very good
Library, computer centre,sport complex even open air theatre in my college
Hostel are very comfortable and hygienic

Dislikes

Vehical are not allowed in my college. ..
In summers temperature gone in rajasthan 45 to 49 degrees
I think most disliked things only these are

Placement Experience:

My branch is mechanical and my college provide 100 percent placements in my branch and average package is 11 to 12 lacs after 6 semester eligible for palacements in mechanical branch BPCL HPCL NHA Indian railways most of these likes companies arrived for palacements in core sector

As it as good facilities like library, 24×7 computer center and well ventilated ac rooms
As it has airport near by so good company can easily come
Good infrastructure and sports facilities

Dislikes

Hostel are not so good so you have to adjust with that you get 3 seater room in first year
Mess food is decent so you have to compromise with you health and taste
Professor are not good the education you expected will not be fulfill

Placement Experience:

Placement are decents from 4 semester you are eligible for placement the company visit are google ,Microsoft,apple, bhel ,JP Morgan , Infosys, Oracle,tata motor and many more the percentage of student place are nearby about 85-90 my plan after degree is to get job and do mba

So i recently graduated from nit jaipur with a btech degree in cs
From my experience my college life was pretty awesome
But it also depends on u how friends u are making there

Dislikes

Mess food is very bad in my hostel itwss good
In some hostels and mess workers are also very rude
3 seater room in 1st year and my roommates were pro in drinking

Course Curriculum Overview:

My branch is electrical so ya many changes are done in my course according to new curriculum as ai and ml and robotics are add ed as they will have a great future boom so yes u can avail this course very good branch in terms of all aspects

Insights of MNIT Jaipur

This college is vI like the campus of my very much because it is full of greenry and gives many facilities to students for their convenience. And the city Jaipur is full of enjoyment.Students can plan many trips with their friendswhich is full of fun
Second thing, is that there is no ragging in the campus by seniors. There are very strict rules against the ragging. So, that parents can leave their children in the college without having any fear about ragging.
My college is very good in academics. The new education policy is regulated in my college. Faculty is also very supportive. Apart from studies, my college also focuses pn entertainment of students, so staff organize many events like college fests.

Dislikes

The think I don't like pf my college is there is no active club and society for freshers. Seniors do not interact with freshers in a good way.
College didn't take sports seriously for every student means only some seniors select players by their own choice.
There is strict rule of 75% attendence in my college. If attendence of a student is below 75% then they will fail the student.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester companies visits to college for summer internships for students. They take rounds of exams and interview for internship as they will pay them. And if company is happy with your work as intern then they give you PPO which is pre placement offer. Many named companies visits in MNIT every year like Adobe,Amazon, Apple, Bajaj, Airtel,Goldmann Sachs,Samsung,JP morgan etc. Number of students placed varies with branch. But overall 80-85% students gets placed in UG. I will try to join IT industry after getting the degree

College nature is best.all people in college live in peace and there are no fighting and politics. campus is good and beautiful
Campus is placed in middle of city. All tourist spots and malls are near campus.
Mostly faculties are very friendly. They helps in study if you wanna learn single they are ready to teach

Dislikes

Study curriculam is strict.mostly professors are strict in 75% attendance criteria.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent in college for most branches placement percent is over 90 percent . Campus has an average of 16 LPA. For computer science branch it it 20 lakh approx. Maximum offer is of 64 lakh. I am planning to stary a startup after college so i am not planning for placements.

Mnit have own campus which is located in centre of city jaipur
Inside the campous complete sports facilities are available.

Dislikes

In mnit campous there is some Extra space is available , I think develope mnit more ..
In Mnit there is 75 percent Attendance is compulsory I which is pressurized students
In mess of mnit food quality is not so Good

In our campous many companies are come for Intership program and placement opportunities For 2023 season CSE average package: 20.7LPA Ece average package:18LPA Electrical:15.6LPA Mechnical:11LPA Chemical:10LPA

Location is good at centre of city and good locality
Ranking of college is very good among all nits and the the best in northern states according to me
Infrastucture of college is good . Largest lecture theatre is present

Dislikes

Compulsory 75 percent attendance is quite a thing to deal with
Hot climate is something which makes the college life hard
Delivery services are recently closed down which is not in favour for students

Placement Experience:

In 4th yr students get eligile for campus placements . Various companies visit the campus . Highest package of thia yr is 64 lakhs from cse and avg is 11 lakhs . Most of the students get placed in these companies unless they wanna go for higher studies exam or upsc exam

Infrastructure is one of the best among all the nits and IITs, people are very helping, the location is quite amazing with college being in the middle of city.
Jaipur being a very happening place makes MNIT life more amazing

Dislikes

One of the worst administration especially academic section is very cruel with 75% attendance and even don't brothers failing final year students for attendance
Swiggy and Zomato not allowed inside campus you have to go to main gate to receive your orders
Internship opportunity is very less 5/110 students of my batch got on campus internship

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for the placement opportunities. The companies visited are: JP Morgan Chase & Co., Apple, HUL, Amazon, Salesforce, Atlassian, Wells Fargo, Deutsche Bank, Bank of Newyork, Reliance, JSL, JSW, Cummins , Accenture, Genpact, Expedia etc Hightest package overall is 64 LPA and in the Chemical Engineering department is 40LPA by expedia Placement percentage overall is around 80%

Mnit is the good college in comparison with the other nits

coding culture is really good , you'll find many of your seniors doing good in coding and even your batchmates also which helps you to also start and learn
professors are good . they help you a alot. you can reach out to them anytime in their office hours for help in academics.
infrastructure is good . we have largest lecture complex in asia ie. VLTC . hostels are also good and the food quality in mess is not that good but it's ok

Dislikes

the class schedule is too hectic. in the 1st year you'll have classes from 8 to 12 and then 3 to 5 .in the second year also it is 9 to 12 and 2 to 5 .
the mess food quality can be improved. after so many complaints also the warden and mess caretaker doesn't change the catering in the mess . in some of the messes the food is really not good
some of the professors doesn't really know how to teach . they just come in the class , will teach anything he wants and then leave. students have to study on their own.

Placement Experience:

usually from 7th sem the students start getting placements so many companies visit the college for the placements. the placements is quite good in comparison with private colleges the avg package of metallurgy branch is approx 8 lacs and the higher package was 41lac in 2022 placement session
