My course is bsc nautical science when I complete this 3 year course I am eligible to go onboard ship for 12 months training on ship.this influence me to choose this course as it has both practical and theory knowledge. The curriculum prepares you for becoming officer on ship in deck department where the uppermost is captain. I thing teaching methods is good here but need to add more practical classes The exams are not that difficult if you study well you will come out with flying colours

There has been a slight drop in our placements from time to time due to recession in maritime community but still if you are good in studies and top30-40% of the batch you will find no problem in getting placed , some companies visiting us are osm thome , chevron , nyk , mol and many more the highest salary provided in lng carriers of nyk that is 1200 dollars per month

Campus Placement is good as big companies comes here for placement and take good amount of cadets every year. Your salary depends on company and ship type you are sailing in . Companies like Pacific Basin , MOL etc

After 5 th semester students are become eligible for campus placement. In fifth semester itself we can start for campus placement. Many top company such as maskline, Anglo eastern , MSC, Evergreen are visiting our college. And offer a job for 70% of students of our college. In our college 10lakh per annum is highest package for traine marine engineer job in evergreen company. About 70 to 80 percentage of the students are placed per year.
