You have a good percentage in high school and jee you'll get scholarships like 1.4 lakh.
Faculties were very friendly and approachable,motivated students who lack in academics, encourage students who are talented, solve their doubts
The infrastructure of the campus just looking like a wow, the cub activities provided here is well good to equiped by the students and has many field of interest of the students the club activities are provided

Dislikes

Sometimes the mess food worst. It's based on the mood of the contract team. I literally hate that kind of attitude.
Sometimes you might feel a stress of the curriculum has there will be a limited time
their rules are a bit more rude and strict

MY SIMPLE COLLEGE LIFE

college environment, ambiance, food, friendly people and approachable teachers and instructors.
cooperative professors and helping people
healthy and clean environment which is clean

strict and very particularly followed nature of guideliness

Placement Experience:

campus placements started from 2nd year for my course. companies like TITAN, SUTHERLAND GLOBAL SERVICE, ACCENTURE, DELOITTE, VDART SOFTWARE etc, visited wit total offers 380. with highest package of 63 lpa and average of 18 lpa. 90% eligible students get placements. After Degree i am planning to pursue masters.

Definitely max of students getting placed with more then 6 lpa package here many companies were comming to hire here soo it is very good for every body soo nice college and good placement offers and there are many big companies

I liked the nature surrounding our college,and the maintenance of our college is very good,
Building's of our college are very modified and well structured
All the facilities are available here,labs are maintained very well and clean

Dislikes

This college wants all to praise their lod Jesus
Non of the fests are taken here,if there it will be regarding about Jesus songs and Jesus prayers
Some of the wardens are rude to us and they do partiality about our language, they give high preference for tamil

Nice College get nice feedback

In my college they are maintaining surroundings very clean and infrastructure is very nice and at night they will conduct study hours and proffesors are very nice
So many members they are so many members to take care of you and they will someone al ays to observe every one in clg
And labs anre very modern and there are so many labs for each department

Dislikes

They always want to praise lord by all religions and ethey always say there god is very good
And they won't celebrate any festival in college and no fests in college
They won't allow students to go out and students need permission to go out

Placement Experience:

I actually don't know about the placement in this college and some companies visit our college they are like whipro and Amazon and Infosys and some other and highest package is 30 lakhs and average package is 3 lakhsand I don't have any plans after my degree

I like here the nature and scenario of the college
And first time for most I like the events going on this college.
And the infrastructure and facilities under campus ametties learning facilities are so good in our college.

Dislikes

I dislike the maintenance of the hostel and mess full
And it dislike the our get hub lecturer.
And I dislike the faculty that they are not expecting as we do.

I read the quote curriculum in our college they provides various course curriculum and teaching methods and student flexible time table and they have classified as mini will applicants are further academic partis the frequency and times of exam along with your perspective on there difficulty level and student flexible time.

A life of a average engineer!

First and foremost i liked the nature and scenario of the university and they maintain proper and good greenary.
And here i liked the spiritual activities which they do to grow the religion.
And they helps and motivates us to do some interns and encourgae us to participate in bootcamp and clubs etc.

Dislikes

Some of the faculty who only against the some of the other type students.
And the hostel rooms and food and place where we eat where we play should be some hygiene and the sra are good and the wardens are stirct rather then other colleges.
Nothing much everything is good and they should help us to reach the studies which we are not geeting.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students get chance for eligible campus placement. There big companies like Cognizant, ISRO, NASA, Google, Amazon, et cetera and many more MNCs. The highest package in the college is 28 lpa and average package that company offers is 3 to 4 lpa. Most probably 80 to 90% of students will get placed in campus platform. And my plans after getting the degree if to become a entrepreneur or to keep a Startup which that can helpful to grow my knowledge.

Karunya University - Review (From a current Student)

Likes

Professors are highly educated and know what they are teaching
Project based learning is another good thing that the college has which allows us to have pratical knowledge about the course.
Lab facilities are great over here in Karunya. They have most of the equipments needed any biotech related experiments.

Dislikes

The overall strictness of the college. This college can be very strict in some common aspects
Lack of cultural events. College doesnt have many culturals as compared to other colleges.
Clean Shaving Beard before exams is one thing I dont know why it is implemented.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

A life in Karunya

Likes

Teachers were kind enough. The campus life was extraordinary.
They have plenty of sports. Infrastructure is so good.
Placement is good but not so good. They don't have enough companies.

Dislikes

Placement they are not good at that because of the faculties.
Going out. We cannot go outside without anyone's permission.
College teachers will see in a weird way when we talk to girls.

Placement Experience:

Highest placement is 10LPA i guess. From 7th semester the companies started to come. I got placed in the 3rd year itself by luck. But lost my luck after 3rd year. Just close your eyes and join any company you're getting means IT not the BPO. It is really hard to get a job after campus they don't even see our resumes. 90% of my dept got placed. Accenture LTIMindtree Cognizant TEJAS are some companies.

Karunya Institute a Chirstian haven for those students who believe.

Likes

The nature and the climate was excellent, its chill throughout the winter and spring.
Faculty of the Biotechnology department were heartfelt but strict.
The laboratories were excellent, and it was kept clean all year round.

Dislikes

The security was very particular about leaving the campus before 7pm.
The hostel food wasn't great, but during special occasions it was nice.
It is a Christian college, so there will be morning assembly every day, and attendance would be marked.

Placement Experience:

There were tons of placements that approached our college and our department. Lots of students got various job's in Wipro and many other major companies. The higgest package given was 11 lakhs per annum. The students were eligible from the 6th semester onwards.

Campus, Labs, Exposure, Academic, Industrial Visits, Research Opportunities, Funding for the projects
Interaction with CEO’s of main startup companies where they share their experience which helps us to build something big
The campus is so beautiful that each and every area is surrounded with forest the atmosphere and everything is just awesome

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester itself students are eligible for campus placement There were companies like Hexaware, Accenture, Avasoft and many more they will be hiring on an average of 15-30 participants The highest package was from Tejas Company it's around 10LPA 80-85% students will be places I need to pursue masters in some reputed company

One of my friends studied at Karunya University. According to him, it is very reputed in the country. The campus environment is peaceful and comfortable.

The infrastructure of its campus is very beautiful and various kinds of facilities are available for the students.
The laboratories available at this college are good and equipped with modern machinery.
There are hostels available for the students. All basic facilities such as laundry service are being provided to the students.
These facilities are a big relief to those students who don't have enough free time to wash their clothes.
The rules and regulations of this institution are very strict, especially for girls.
The campus is far away from the main city of Coimbatore, sometimes it becomes difficult to travel from the city to campus.
You will have to take permission from the administration for almost everything by writing them a letter or an application.

Hence, the rules and regulations of this university are very strict and you will have to abide by all the rules if you wish to study at this university.

A few of my friends have studied here and their experiences have been moderate. Karunya University has improved over the years but you cannot expect too much from here.

Following are some of the pros and cons of the university:

Pros –

Good infrastructure with well-equipped facilities including hostels
Climate is good throughout the year.
Ragging is comparatively low.
If you are a person who accumulates arrears this is the place for you. University will help you out, a supplementary examination is held in the middle of a semester just to help students clear their arrears.
WiFi connection is available.
You can choose faculties as per your wish

Cons –

There is a morning assembly every day. This includes starting prayer, ending prayer and in between someone will pray for you from the stage. You should maintain 80% of attendance for Assembly.
Management is not efficiently managed
The grading system is not fair. There will be four to five faculties for the same subject.

If you are opting for Karunya University, then go only for CSE as only it is good. Other departments like ECE and EE do not have proper faculty members or infrastructure. Do not waste your time in such departments.
