You have a good percentage in high school and jee you'll get scholarships like 1.4 lakh.
Faculties were very friendly and approachable,motivated students who lack in academics, encourage students who are talented, solve their doubts
The infrastructure of the campus just looking like a wow, the cub activities provided here is well good to equiped by the students and has many field of interest of the students the club activities are provided

Dislikes

Sometimes the mess food worst. It's based on the mood of the contract team. I literally hate that kind of attitude.
Sometimes you might feel a stress of the curriculum has there will be a limited time
their rules are a bit more rude and strict

Likes

Very good campus with natural sceneries. Good infrastructure
Faculties are very friendly and approachable
Hostel mess and library facilities are good ,

Dislikes

Hostel for girls are very strict ,nobody is allowed to go out without parents permission
No Industrial visits or educational tours
Assembly is compulsory for all students,

Placement Experience:

Internships are compulsory for students in third year , from the 7th and 8 th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like itc ,hungerbox, hatsun, milkymist will come for placements

Placements are good where you will get 4.5–7LPA if you are slight good at programming. Those ambitious programmers who are excellent in programming could get ctc upto 15–20 LPA. Not only programming but ppl who choose cybersecurity,AI/ML etc.. if you know your stuffs well , then you can brag higher package than programmers. Top recruiters here are IBM , TCS, Wipro,Nutanix, Microsoft (upto certain extent) and certain product/service based companies

My Thoughts about Karunya

Likes

First and most important thing i would like to tell about Karunya University is that it is a deemed University and it is accredited with NAAC A++ and therefore the placement here is very high.
The facilities of Karunya Univeristy are international level as they have most advanced labs and equipments for training the students.
Karunya mainly focuses on raising Enterprenuers as they teach and support a student to start a business with inoovations.

Dislikes

The collage is located almost 30km away from town so it is in a village area.
Hostels are very strict preventing students to go out.
Attendance above 95% should be maintained for scholarship.

Placement Experience:

In Karunya University students from 3rd year are eligible for placements if they could crack the interview.The companies that visit Karunya for placemnts include Infosys,Wipro etc .Many students from Karunya have recieved high salary package upto Crores per annum.Currenty they say that all students of Karunya are getting placed either through campus interview or other ways.My plan after my degree is to get placed with a high package job through Karunya.

Likes

College campus was mindblowing as it was full of trees
there were more than 2 canteens in college itself also it serves the best food and faculty was so friendly
hostel was mesmerizing that its scenery, climate etc

Dislikes

There is is no cultural festival celeberations
their rules are a bit more rude and strict

Course Curriculum Overview:

as they have only started BSc forensic science in 2020 year there were some missing teaching aspects but they have done their best. they will give basic information regarding everything and research is also needed.

The university is great for its infrastructure and high tech laboratories and much more facilities
The college is located under the base of the mountain and has a great climate and beauty, It helps in the relaxation of mind

Sometimes you might feel a stress of the curriculum has there will be a limited time

The Students can get into placements after the 6th Semester. There are Many Are many companies visiting the college Every year. There is a 100% placement rate in this college. The average package is between 4-7 LPA

Likes

Staffs are understanding and kind and are friendly

Dislikes

Not allowed to go out of campus even for presentation
Attendance should be present for 80% it's compulsory if it goes down by 0.1% you are not allowed to write exams

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that better because the salary package was too low .The placement percentage is about 20-50%. There will be placement training for pre final years and final years. I was planning on an job after graduation.

KARUNYA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCES - My College

Likes

The infrastructure is excellent and it is of international standards.
KITS has lots of accreditations which are very useful for future studies.
The food here is amazing. Comparing to other college 's hostel canteens KITS provide much better food and they are even taking feedbacka to improve the quality.

Dislikes

Since it's a Christian College, the management is so strict.
Even hostel is so strict that you can't even go out on Sundays.(Or any other holidays)
Girls hostel is even stricter. It feels like prison.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students here are aiming for further studies and not placements. The placements are below average. The mean package was a out 3lpa. The highest package this year was 63lpa. Most of the companies visiting are new startups and some small companies. Students are eligible for placements at 3 year or 6th semester. International internships are also there. My plan is to pursue masters after my bachelors degree.

Got it with a good one

Likes

The college is full of trees and the main thing is climate i love to be there for the good environment
and the foods in canteen are delicious to have in free times
And the staffs are so helpful to teach and to clear our doubts they will never ever acted rude to the students

Dislikes

mainly there are no functions to celebrate
only they conduct a function like minfcraft for two days
and another event for christmas thats all.

Placement Experience:

after the 6th sem students are eligible for campus placements, food sutra and many are there,highest is 25k and lowest is 8k and 90% students will get into the placements, higher studies is my plan after getting the degree

Likes

Classroom environment, Faculties, Teaching method, placement sessions, infrastructure, extra curricular exposure.

Dislikes

Lesser oureach activites, Hostel Food, lesser social interactions, strictness towards interactions with opposite gender classmates/friends

Placement Experience:

Placements are comparatively lesser for non-technical courses but are quite good for technical courses like, CS, ECE, IT, EEE, etc. Average packages being offered by the companies are in between 4-5LPA.

The infrastructure facilities and lab equipments available are so helpful for researches
Large campus gives a perfect study environment for students
High quality food and hostel facilities.

Dislikes

No celebrations or parties forany festivals or events.
Lots of exams so frequently makes students life stressful

Course Curriculum Overview:

Various cources are available with the freedom to choose our subjects and the faculty. The cources provided are very versatile and worthy to learn rather than being just theory subjects. Overall the subjects available are totally worthy and staffs teaching them are well versed in those subjects.

One of my friends studied at Karunya University. According to him, it is very reputed in the country. The campus environment is peaceful and comfortable.

The infrastructure of its campus is very beautiful and various kinds of facilities are available for the students.
The laboratories available at this college are good and equipped with modern machinery.
There are hostels available for the students. All basic facilities such as laundry service are being provided to the students.
These facilities are a big relief to those students who don't have enough free time to wash their clothes.
The rules and regulations of this institution are very strict, especially for girls.
The campus is far away from the main city of Coimbatore, sometimes it becomes difficult to travel from the city to campus.
You will have to take permission from the administration for almost everything by writing them a letter or an application.

Hence, the rules and regulations of this university are very strict and you will have to abide by all the rules if you wish to study at this university.

A few of my friends have studied here and their experiences have been moderate. Karunya University has improved over the years but you cannot expect too much from here.

Following are some of the pros and cons of the university:

Pros –

Good infrastructure with well-equipped facilities including hostels
Climate is good throughout the year.
Ragging is comparatively low.
If you are a person who accumulates arrears this is the place for you. University will help you out, a supplementary examination is held in the middle of a semester just to help students clear their arrears.
WiFi connection is available.
You can choose faculties as per your wish

Cons –

There is a morning assembly every day. This includes starting prayer, ending prayer and in between someone will pray for you from the stage. You should maintain 80% of attendance for Assembly.
Management is not efficiently managed
The grading system is not fair. There will be four to five faculties for the same subject.

If you are opting for Karunya University, then go only for CSE as only it is good. Other departments like ECE and EE do not have proper faculty members or infrastructure. Do not waste your time in such departments.
