You have a good percentage in high school and jee you'll get scholarships like 1.4 lakh.
Faculties were very friendly and approachable,motivated students who lack in academics, encourage students who are talented, solve their doubts
The infrastructure of the campus just looking like a wow, the cub activities provided here is well good to equiped by the students and has many field of interest of the students the club activities are provided

Dislikes

Sometimes the mess food worst. It's based on the mood of the contract team. I literally hate that kind of attitude.
Sometimes you might feel a stress of the curriculum has there will be a limited time
their rules are a bit more rude and strict

Likes

Nice fees structure its actually affordable .
Scholarships avialble for everyone of no what background you come from
Better infrastructure and nice environment

Dislikes

Far from city situated close WILDLIFE making sometimes uncomfortable.
Limited transportation and No better restaurant near
No bikes and cars allowed to campus. Some times food is not good

Placement Experience:

Studenta are eligible to campus placement from the 1st sem of 3rd year. Mass recruiters like TCS and Infosys hire freshers . And other startup also hire from here. Students also get in college placement as a faculty and assistant teaching staff. Around 88% student have placement and the university ia trying best to increase the acceptance rate.After getting my degree my plan is to work for 3 yeara in India and move to abroad for hogher qualification like nation Germany and Ireland. After that will look for Phd if all good later start a startup and get settled anywhere in abroad or in India.

Assembly, christinity is everywhere here

Placement Experience:

I cse student for my course those who have or maintain 7.5 or above cgpa at the end of 5 semester can attend all campus placements. As of now there low no of companies are coming for placements. Average nowadays

Karunya is a nice college

Likes

I like the climate of the campus as it is located in the foothills of the mountain
The food is really nice and is home-made
I really like the infrastructure in the college. I like the labs. They are very high-tech.

Dislikes

I feel that the college is little strict, but I know that this is for the benefit of the student studying in it

Placement Experience:

Placements in the campus are nice. We have a department known as training for campus placement and Centre. The placement team is very nice as they train us to get placed in different countries. We have many multinational companies coming to recruit students of our university such as IBM, Infosys, Accenture

Karunya is nice

Likes

I really like the scenery of the campus, and I feel that every student will feel relax in the campus
The library in the college is really nice. It has a lot of books and it’s very organised.

Dislikes

I feel the college is very strict, but I know that this is for the well-being of the students

Placement Experience:

Since I am in the second year, I do not know how the placements will be, but we have a Special department for placements known as placement training Centre, where students are given training for placements and are sharpened so that they can give their best output

I really like the scenery and I feel that it is cool

I feel that the college is really strict but I know that this is for the safety of the student

I feel that the curriculum for our course is really good and well plan because in the bachelors for a course we get experience for all the field such as graphic designing audio video coding user interface user experience design and we are also thought various things like marketing and on the process which is quite helpful

I liked the hostels, they are well maintained and clean.
I liked the food, they have various messes with different menus
I liked the facilities inside the hostel

Dislikes

I feel the college is a bit strict, but it creates a very safe environment to be in

Placement Experience:

I'm not that sure about the placement, but there companies like teachnook, Infosys, Wipro and various MNCs hiring from this college, and the usually range from 6 lpa to 9 lpa, The college has a department called centre for placement training where all students are trained.

About karunya university

Likes

The environment and the location and the climate
The rules and regulations in the college. It's a kind of strict but it's a requirement for a university like this.
The safety they provide for each students especially for the girl student. They don't have to be worried about living in a huge campus like this.

Dislikes

The travel to the college from the city. It's a 1 and half hours of travelling in bus or cab from the city.
No outing permissions are provided during holidays..

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students and eligible for the campus placements. And the placement are obviously based on the performance of the students in the past few semesters. It's always better to find an intership on our own.

The infrastructure of the college is so good
The atmosphere is so calm and quiet around the university
There are good facilities such as a central Library computer labs and many other things

Dislikes

On all working days assemblies are kept at morning from 8:40 to 9:00
The transportation is a problem while you want to go to coimbatore town
College doesn't conduct much programs or functions

Placement Experience:

Students will be placed from the beginning of the 2nd year itself based on their skills and CGPA and a large number of companies visit and hire students and offers them a good package the highest offer made in lat year was around 60 LPA

There are a lot of things to say about karunya. First of about the climate ,its not that bad or that good . In the winter season the place is very nice . The first year ground is good place for evening walks.
If we are talking about food ,there are separate mess for students .For example ,kerala mess ,south mess ,andhra mess,north mess and nri mess.
When it comes to ragging the faculty will protect us .We don't have to fear any body .First year ,Second year ,Third year and fourth are separated from each other.So we don't have to fear anybody.

Dislikes

Comparing to other colleges the freedom is little lesser.It will take more than one hour to reach the coimbatore town.there is no malll near the college
The fees is around three lakh and sixty thousand per year .That is quiet big for an average family .That is one of the main disadvantage of this college
Some times the climate is so bad .I n summer season the climate is very hot during afternoon it will be like a steam bath . In monsoon season we can,t play any games

Placement Experience:

The average package in karunya is around six to seven lakhs per annum .But a guy got 5 lakh per month which is one of the highest package a student got in karunya university . Intel ,IBM ,Amazon are one of the major companies that come to karunya.

One of my friends studied at Karunya University. According to him, it is very reputed in the country. The campus environment is peaceful and comfortable.

The infrastructure of its campus is very beautiful and various kinds of facilities are available for the students.
The laboratories available at this college are good and equipped with modern machinery.
There are hostels available for the students. All basic facilities such as laundry service are being provided to the students.
These facilities are a big relief to those students who don't have enough free time to wash their clothes.
The rules and regulations of this institution are very strict, especially for girls.
The campus is far away from the main city of Coimbatore, sometimes it becomes difficult to travel from the city to campus.
You will have to take permission from the administration for almost everything by writing them a letter or an application.

Hence, the rules and regulations of this university are very strict and you will have to abide by all the rules if you wish to study at this university.

A few of my friends have studied here and their experiences have been moderate. Karunya University has improved over the years but you cannot expect too much from here.

Following are some of the pros and cons of the university:

Pros –

Good infrastructure with well-equipped facilities including hostels
Climate is good throughout the year.
Ragging is comparatively low.
If you are a person who accumulates arrears this is the place for you. University will help you out, a supplementary examination is held in the middle of a semester just to help students clear their arrears.
WiFi connection is available.
You can choose faculties as per your wish

Cons –

There is a morning assembly every day. This includes starting prayer, ending prayer and in between someone will pray for you from the stage. You should maintain 80% of attendance for Assembly.
Management is not efficiently managed
The grading system is not fair. There will be four to five faculties for the same subject.

If you are opting for Karunya University, then go only for CSE as only it is good. Other departments like ECE and EE do not have proper faculty members or infrastructure. Do not waste your time in such departments.
