AMU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Last year students become eligible for the campus placement. Various companies take part in campus placement like Google, Microsoft, Voltas, Chegg, Konark, dell, etc. The average package that students get was around 5 lakh per annum. My plan is to go for higher studies.

Placements has been an issue for AMU for some past years. However, with the new TPO officer, AMU has seen growth in campus placements in the past 2-3 years. Different companies do visit AMU for the final year campus placements and seminars, but only a few bunch of students could clear the interviews.

As I said earlier campus placement is not that good in our college bit after completing engineering from here generally students go for higher studies or can go for preparation of the GATE exam or civil services so basically students prepare for government exams after completing engineering. Some companies also visit for computer science students and the average package is around 4 to 5 LPA and the maximum package was 16LPA by Adobe .my plans after degree to prepare for government exams like PSU, GATE.

I choose this college to study because this college is one of the best engineering colleges of india . They conduct their own entrance examination as per there schedule.this college registered in the name of a very famous University of india Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh

Sutdents get placed from 6th semester and they manage work and academics, a salary package of Rs 60000 annually was given to one of my friends which is not bad for a fresher who is still studying in college.

As Compared to other different Universities providing the same courses, you will the placement in our University quite decent and up to the mark. In Engineering Department, Most of the companies visited in the last few years are majorly IT companies including Wipro, TCS, Accenture as the mass recruiter (at 3.3-3.5 lpa) and Maruti Suzuki( 4.5 lpa), Adobe(6.2 lpa), etc. From the 7th Semester, the Students become eligible for campus placement. The highest on-campus placement was 17 lpa in 2019 and the lowest one is 2.3 lpa (provided to 6 Students by Wipro in 2012). But, the average package lies between 5.5-6 lpa. Every year, nearly 92% of students got placed in these different companies visiting the campus. While Some Students look forward to the off-campus placement and others try to get into PSU's. My plan after B.Tech is to complete Masters's in Technology from either AMU or any other reputed IIT or NIT.

The placement record for BTech candidates has been decent in AMU. Most students received desired packages. Companies like Honda, JP Cement, and Hyundai are the major recruiters that visit the campus for placements regularly. A salary package as high as 20 LPA was registered by the university.

I'm still studying. On-Campus placements are low as it's situated in not so developed town. But if you go outside to find jobs you will get very good packages as Amu has lots of value. For Chemical Engineering on-campus placement, the highest package so far was 12 LPA. My plan is to go abroad after my BTech.

Placements here are not that much high but some people got very lucky within campus placement. From last year people can apply for placements in different companies. TCS is the mass recruiter. But after bachelors it is difficult to get placement.

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. Many companies visit the department and many students got selected in the different companies with the help of their skills which increased by the professor of this university. Approx 85 to 90% of students got selected for placement every year. I have also planned for the job and I will also get placement after my 5th semester. When I talk about the package many companies provide 10 to 15 lakh per annum.
