I'd also like to remind you that scholarship opportunities are available to help ease the financial burden.
Some of the profs are really very great as they encourage us to think outside of the box.
Campus is good, friends are good, clubs and societies are good and the fest is good

Dislikes

The number of shops are very less in the college campus, which is very bad.
This year 2023-2024 , the placement stats has dropped due to recession all among the world leading to less hiring opportunities for freshers.
Professor are very strict here in academics and academic is also very hard.

Overall overview

Likes

Placements records are impressive and attractive and have good coding culture.
There is no existence of ragging in my college and good infrastructure and very good facilities.
Night canteen is present in each hostel ,gym is inside hostel.

Dislikes

Things I dislike that there is hachtik shedule and less time for own.
Less importance to other activities and regular studies is necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because this has a great future and doing b.tech in this course has great demand in today's era. The faculty are good and highly qualified. they are helpful in nature and solve all the doubts of students. The girls and boys ratio is not that good but average, approx 1 girl on 5 boys. Faculty members are well qualified and all have done their PhDs and a lot of research. Term exams are conducted two times in semester but quizes are conducted every month. Quit difficult to crack but not that much difficult to pass.

Less number of students which will make to have peace with others
Common areas are quite private so one can use for their personal privacy

Dislikes

Food is the major problem here one must adjust for one thing to get other
There is no college atmosphere here as compared to others
One should always study to get into good campanies

4th year onwards placements will start Before that one can try for interships in 3rd year Most of the IT based companies visit here due to high demand of competitive coders Average package is very high as compared to many of Nits and iits Just maintain your academics well that will be enough for placements I made no plans because I am a seconf year student going with the flow

Faculty: The faculty at IIIT Allahabad are highly qualified and experienced.
Placement: The placements at IIIT Allahabad are very good. The placement rate for the 2023 batch was 96.12%.
Infrastructure: IIIT Allahabad has a well-developed infrastructure, including a well-equipped library.

Dislikes

Fees: The fees at IIIT Allahabad are a bit high. However, there are a number of scholarships and financial assistance options available to students.
Hostel food: The food at the hostel mess is generally good. However, some students have complained about the menu being repetitive.

Likes

Campus life is great in IIIT A with all equipped facilties
Placement is great in IIIT A with good course curriculum

Dislikes

Academics is quite hectic in IIITA with daily classes.

Placement Experience:

Campus Placement is great in IIIT Allahabad with an average package of 20 lpa for mtech and 30 Lpa for btech almost every big company visited the college for the placement. highest package is 1.25 cr for Btech and 65 lpa for mtech.

I hardly dislike in this college but the sports equipment is not good.

Placement Experience:

From my knowledge company students are eligible right from 7th semester around 400 companies visit our college yearly . Highest package is around 1.2 cr as per 2022 and the average package of IT listed as 34 lac.

I have got this in JOSSA counselling which is conducted by NTA. The ratio of faculty and students is good, all faculty are well qualified all are Ph.D qualified. There is mid-sem and the end-sem exam is conducted by the college.

Well yeah, we have placements starting from 7th sem. Just like any good college, we have splendid stats in the start but continue to worsen as it goes. I guess we have Google, sprinkler, winzo, etc coming to us.

student from 3rd year get interships.whereas students from 7th semester get placements.around 200 companies visit the campus with includes gaints like google,amazon etc.the highest package is around 90 lakhs this year.more than 90% students gets placed because of very good coding culture.my plan is to get a descent package from any mnc.

I enjoying the teaching methods at my college. An effective teaching approach can make a significant difference in the learning experience.
The absence of gender and reservation biases in the learning environment is truly commendable. It reflects a commitment to fairness, equal opportunity, and inclusivity within your college
The attractive placement packages at my college with a high return on investment are truly impressive. They reflect the value of education and open promising career paths.

Dislikes

The excessively busy teaching schedule at times is a drawback. Balancing workload and personal time becomes challenging.

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, students become eligible for placements. Prominent MNCs like TCS, Wipro, and prestigious product-based companies including FAANG attend these placements. Offers are extended based on each company's preferences. The highest package of 1.5 crore per annum was offered by Goldman Sachs, while the average package stands at 33 lakhs per annum. Most companies offer around 28 lakhs per annum. The placement rate is impressive, with up to 95% of students successfully placed. Given your interest in marketing, my future plan to pursue an MBA in the United States sounds promising.

IIIT Amethi is situated near a village named Tikarmafi, 10 km away from Amethi. It has its own perks. Here are some factors about the institute.

Academics:

Both IIIT Allahabad and IIIT Amethi have the same curriculum and professors. Because of that, professors visit the Amethi campus on a daily basis.
As almost everything is similar for both campuses, the exams are also conducted parallelly in both of them, making them at par for things related to academics.

Placements:

Students of IIIT Amethi are shifted to the campus of IIIT Allahabad after their 4th year, securing them placements similar to the Allahabad campus.
Needless to say, IIIT Allahabad does come with good placements. IIIT Amethi also enjoys the same privilege as placement is same for both the institutes.

Facilities and Infrastructure:

This is exactly where you can set the contrast between the two campuses. IIIT Amethi lacks good infrastructure. It is a very compressed campus with only two boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel.
There had not been any sports facilities in the institute before. But at present, it has standard Basketball courts, a Badminton court, TT tables and a playground for cricket.
The labs and libraries are minuscule too. It can hardly support the strength.
Besides, you might also not find any up-to-the-mark food items around the campus, but just snacks to keep the day going.
There’s an option to take a bus ride to visit a town nearby, Sultanpur, which helps in a way to let students escape from the everyday life at Amethi, and rather spend time in that area, or buy decent food.

IIIT Amethi does have its fair share of disadvantages but it offers good placement in top-notch MNCs such as Google, Facebook, and Adobe, etc. Also, the pros outweigh the con for IIIT Amethi.
