- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

Placement Experience:
According to media reports, the highest international and domestic package offered during IIT Roorkee placements 2022-23 placements stood at INR 1.06 crore per annum and INR 1.30 crore per annum, respectively. Further, six international offers were made on day 1 of IIT Roorkee placements in 2023. Apart from this, ten students got a salary package of more than INR 80 LPA during IIT Roorkee placements in 2023. Importantly, a record of 365 offers including PPOs were made on day 1 of IIT Roorkee placements 2023. On day two of IIT Roorkee placements 2023, 32 recruiters participated and presented various job roles to the students. The total number of offers stood at 500. The top recruiters include leading companies such as Tata Steel, Uber and Bajaj Auto.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is of old school types but the faculty is good and very supportive. The student-faculty ratio is not good here. The faculty here are highly qualified. Exams were really often like in 4 months we have 2-3 exams.

Companies Uber, Microsofts, Goldman Sachs, Itc Ltd, Cisco, Amazon, Flipkart, Bank Of America.
Highest Package - 1.45 Cpa
Lowest Package - 12 Lpa
Avg Package- 22 Lpa.
% Students - 90%.
I Am Working In a Reputed Company As A Software Engineer.

- Specifically for economics, i liked the faculties. They are cooperative.
- Apart from it i liked the club culture in the campus.
- Varied interest peers will always keep on that competitive environment.
Dislikes
- Subtle inclination of everyone towards coding
- Joining right clubs in the start is important.
Placement Experience:
Placements are quite decent with a major focus on SDE and tech based companies followed by some core companies. The placement internship cell ensures that everyone gets placed irrespective of their branch.

- faculties are very helpful and easily approachable.
- Good international relations through a cell named IARC.
Dislikes
- The mess food is not good in terms of taste.
- Some of the hostels are very old and very conjusted.
- Triple and double sharing rooms are also there, which are not good.
Placement Experience:
The placements are one of the best among the engineering colleges. Companies offer roles in various domains such as data analyst, researcher, developer, etc. The average package is around 17 to 18 lakhs.

- The mess food is somewhat not good tastewise
- The hostels do not allow for keeping coolers, which makes summers bad
Placement Experience:
The placements are great with an average package above 20 lakhs per annum. There are quite good companies coming to the campus. More than 95 per cent of the students get placed with good packages. The highest package goes to 1-2 crores.

- Wide variety of campus clubs and groups, that make a good learning for the students.
- Good campus with lots of greenery and all types of sports.
Dislikes
- The hostels are little bit old and rooms which are double or triple sharing are not good.
- Campus politics is very dirty and it is included in various campus clubs.
- The mess is very far away from the hostel for some hostels.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements in the seventh semester of their 4-year course. A wide variety of companies come to offer jobs and the average package is very good (around 20 lakhs). Almost all the students who sit in placements get placed.

- Mess food sucks. Toilets were not English. So that was also a problem.
- The campus is 355 acres. But it gets small pretty fast.
- The course is fine but the professors have no clue how to teach.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is fine. You do learn a bunch of unnecessary subjects. Professors are awful. It's a very hard task to find a good professor. They are all highly qualified but don't know how to teach. Exams are done in mid-terms and then end terms about 2.5 months apart. And they are very tough. Because you don't study in college.

As I want to become a doctorate so I have chosen a Ph.D. in IIT ROORKEE.
One faculty have 2 students each.
They all are post-doctorate and Ph.D. holders.
After every 6 months, there is an exam held on campus.

The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation

Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
